ONTO THE SPIDER MOUNTAIN Location the Demon Slayer-verse, Japan-Northwest Region; Country Road
A couple months later. Three swordsmen were heading out together on a mission. Leading the group is Tanjiro Kamado. A young man with lightly tanned skin and an athletic, muscular build. His hair is ruffled and black almost burgundy color, with red. Sleek back style in his hair, showing his forehead clearly. Which has a distinct scar on the upper left of his forehead. Wears a distinct pair of hanafuda-like earrings with the image of the rising, red sun over a mountain. Having the standard Demon Slayer uniform on. Over this, he dons his signature green and black checkered haori. Running as a large wooden box is strapped to his back, inside holds someone very close to him. His little sister, and a demon Nezuko, who's currently resting. As he brother carried her. Searching for a cure to turn her back to a human. Close behind Tanjiro are his friends and comrades. First is Zenitsu Agatsuma. A young man with fair skin, as well as a muscular build. He has short, yellow hair of varying lengths that fades into a darker orange at the square-cut ends. The result of literal being struck by lightning, turning his once black hair into the color that is now. Zenitsu is wearing a golden brown variation of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. Along with signature haori, a bright yellow-to-orange gradient decorated with a repeating white triangle pattern. And wrapped at the calves with his distinctive, bright yellow-to-orange gradient kyahan. While he is cowarding, and reluctant to go to wherever the Corp is sending them. A small part of him, wants to protect his new friends, and Nezuko-chan. The last and most recent addition to this trio. He is name Inosuke Hashibira. The self proclaimed Lord of the Mountains. Inosuke is a young man of average height and pale skin complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build for his age. Wearing a boar's head as a mask. Belonging to a boar that he calls the God of the Mountains. Which hide something that contract his very manly physique and appearance. For he has an incredibly pretty and feminine face, with his thick, raven-black hair reaches just past his shoulders, fading into blue at the tips. Aside his boar mask, he only wears baggy hakama pants in a dark gray-blue shade. Secured at his hips with a thick belt adorned with fluffy brown deer fur.
These three have just left the Wisteria Mansion. Being lead by their crows, as possibly their comrades are in danger. So they must rush. After a whole while of running. They've arrived the base of a mountain, that is heavily dense with forests. There they saw a wounded slayer. Murata. A supporting character, that is barely able to use breathing techniques. Who managed to survived the entirety of the plot. Murata is average looking young man. He has straight jet-black hair parted down the middle. Wearing the usual Demon Slayer uniform. Crawling towards Tanjiro and the others. Unseen by any of them, some thin silk is attached to Murata's body. Suddenly those silk strand, were pulled. And Murata was about to be dragged back into the darkness of the forest. But before that happened. A pinkish-purple and magenta blur, came into the spot. Pair of flashes. Murata fell. No longer wrapped in silk strands. He was free, Zenitsu, Tanjiro, and Inosuke already holding his serrated katanas. As his instincts were screaming at him, that this lady is dangerous. A black haired, pinkish-purple themed kunoichi. Kyoko Needlework. She's here to secure the lives of the slayers, apart from that Gyutaro has full authority on what's going to happen. Before Tanjiro could thank the lady. Kyoko ran into the forest. Leaving Zenitsu, Murata, Tanjiro, and Inosuke. Before they can discuss what to do, Inosuke shouts, "Ready or not, cause Lord Inosuke is coming through!!" Laughing excitedly, as he run straight into the forest. So without needing any other words. Tanjiro ready himself to go in too. Leaving Zenitsu with Murata, as Zenitsu was shaking in fear and anxiety. Before he can make a excuse on not going. Murata pleaded with him to help Tanjiro and the others, still trapped by demons. While he call for back up, with no other way to escape this. Zenitsu looked at the eerie forest, whimpering. Before the image of Nezuko being danger, entered his mind. Taking a deep breathe, as tears are dripping from his eyes. He screamed out the top of his lungs, and ran into the Spider Mountain. Officially starting this arc.
FIGHTING SPIDERS A couple moments later. Tanjiro managed to catch up to Inosuke. Together they made their way deeper, into the mountain. Noticing a abundance of apider silk, and white spiders everywhere. Inosuke was having a blast. As his serrated blades, cut through the creepy spiders. Seeing Inosuke fighting. Tanjiro drew his own blade, turning completely black in his hands. They started fighting the spiders, along with cutting through the spider silk. That's when Tanjiro. Using his incredible sence of smell. He picked up, the scent of blood. Human blood. Soon Inosuke sensed danger was approaching them. As several Corp members, clearly in pain and broken bones. With silk strands on their bodies. They were begging them to kill them, so the pain can stop. Or at least get a hashira to help. Now the two were stuck in a dilemma. While far away. A demon woman, sat on a stone. Her fingers linked to several stread of spider silk. This is the "Spider Mother", her name being Aya. But under "his" expressed order. She is known as Mother. Having very similar in appearance to her "family", having the same solid white hair, skin, teal eyelashes and nails, and circular, red facial markings. Those marking having a spider-like appearance. Her hair is very long, parted down the middle of her face which was tied with teal orbs into two, thick strands. She also possesses a short and curvaceous physique. Wearing a lengthy, layered kimono. With a maroon on the inside layer and white on the outside layer. Which exposed part of her bountiful chest and was tied with a patterned obi. She also donned a beaded necklace composed of teal and purple orbs and decorative anklets. Like others of her "family". She has natural affinity with spiders, right now she's fighting two slayers. Clearly stronger and more caution than the other slayers that came before. Using her Blood Demon Art to control these previous slayers. To fight against the two new slayers. As she desperately tried to kill the enemies. A small shadow covered figure appeared, beside her. Immediately she tensed. Fear pouring out of her body. As she stared at her "son" Rui.
Rui is a boy of short stature and small physical build. His skin was solid white, with red dots appearing at several spots on his face. Located above his eyes where his eyebrows are supposed to be. Just below his left eyelid, ending above his nose, and finally a vertical one running the length of his right cheek. His hair is white and bares a resemblance to spider legs. The sclera of his eyes was dark red, while his irises were white, having teal colored eyelashes. Due to holding the position of Lower Rank Five, Rui has the kanji of "Lower" and "Five" on his eyes. Rui is wearing a white, oversized kimono that had spider webs etched on the sleeves and the expanse of the hem. Which also possessed a loose collar, decorated with the same dot-like markings as his face. And a dark red obi belt around his waist. He also wears a plain, white juban underneath, and he's barefooted. Rui came to check up on Mother. Seeing that she's struggling with humans. He threatened her, that if she fails. Than Father is gonna punish her again. She pleaded with Rui, not to involve Father. That she'll succeed. Rui humms, fading into the shadows of the moonlit forest. Aya...she took a moment to calm herself. The fear of pain, or worse punishment fueling her efforts to kill Tanjiro and Inosuke. While this battle is happening, another is close to ending. Zenitsu was cowarding on tree, having found the hide away for the Spider Brother. Who just poisoned him. And that poison will slowly turn him into a human-headed spider. Forever trapped in the mountain. The Spider Brother enjoyed, playing with his victims. But never has he'd meet such a coward. That was when Zenitsu fainted...upon him losing consciousness. He no longer feels fear, and he can fight. Flashing around the field. In a low stance, his hand over the hilt of his sword. Sparks of electricity being released by his blade, and breathe. As he focused on his target. Once locked on, Zenitsu used it. His own variation of a Thunder Breathing Technique. As he was swarmed by human-headed spiders, he burst with electricity. Saying in his mind, "Thunder Breathing; First Form: Thunderclap & Flash, Sixfold!!!" flashing forward like a bolt of lightning. Getting closer and closer to his demonic opponent. And before the Spider Brother realized it. Zenitsu beheaded him. Bursting through his house, and falling onto the spider web, hanging cabin. Now awake. As the demon disintegrated away. He won, but now he couldn't move. The poison becoming worse, but grandpa's words, echoed in his head. So he used the breathing techniques, he was taught to slow down the poison the best he could. Refusing to give up. All the while, Tanjiro and Inosuke were fighting against the puppeteer demon slayers.
They tried cutting the spider tread, that is controlling them. But as soon they cut some, spiders would make a replacement. Making it pointless. Until Tanjiro noticed all the silk. Along with the several branches of the surrounding trees. Thinking fast. He grabbed the girl with a side ponytail. Throwing her onto the branches, immobilizing her. Stopping the pain. Inosuke saw this, and wanted to try as well. Together they threw each captive onto the branches. Stopping them from moving, attacking, and hurting themselves any more. At that moment, as Aya aka Spider Mother realized that her puppets are useless. She was about to kill them. When in a blur. A woman ninja, with a pair of kunais came into the area. Her speed above everything there. She slice off all the spider silk, and rescued the wounded slayers. Tanjiro caught a slight glimpse of her scent. It was the woman, that save Murata before. As all the wounded, were taken away. That was one less worry for Tanjiro. But Aya's anxiety grew. As she only has one more puppet. A special puppet, that can't be defeated as easy as her other puppets. Flicking her hands to activate her special puppet. A extremely tall and muscular demon, that has skin of a dull purple color. Its most distinct feature was its missing head. Which, as indicated by the unclean wound along its neck, removing the fatal weakness of the head. Through some means, Aya has managed to keep this demon body alive. Its weapons are its two forearms that are bladed. Resembling golden spider-like legs that extend further than normal, giving this demon puppet tremendous reach. The demon's only attire consisted of a pair of torn and weathered beige pants, with the left pant leg being completely torn open. This is Aya's last trump card, should it fail. She'll be utterly defenseless. With hand gestures, she unleashed the headless demon. Making it rush straight at the two slayers. While Inosuke and Tanjiro rush towards the enemy location, they came face to face with Aya's Headless Demon. Shocking the two slayers. As the demon is...well headless. Immediately Aya struck first. Using the Headless Demon's bladed arm to slash at the duo. Tanjiro blocks the attack. Inosuke rushes in, trying to find any weakpoint against the headless thing. Only for him having to block, a stab from the same headless thing. It's strong but slow. As both Tanjiro and Inosuke took a step back, trying to find any sign of a weakpoint. That when Inosuke decided to just go all out, like he always does. Slashing away at Headless Demon, which resulted in him getting tangled by spider webs. Leaving him defenseless. That's when Tanjiro rushed in to his friend's aid. Blocking the demon puppet's attack. Tanjiro he quickly devised a solution. In order to kill this demon, one must to slash it diagonally through its torso. With that he rushed in, his aim take out the final puppet. All the while, a former demon now devil. He's entered the mountain, and is making his way straight at Aya, as this battle is concluding.
