Chapter 29 - Introduction To New Friends And Foes In My Life

Today, class ends earlier.

Someone pressed my shoulder.

'Hey! How about we go out for a beer tonight...together...with them?' said Emma in a strange British-American accent, leaning over my side with an eerie smile on her face and one of her hands pointing towards others.

(To myself) 'Huh! 10 more students will be going. I hate talking much already. I don't like crowds. Arghhh! I want to go home and own the bed. I want to tear my hair nowwww! Wait! Nouuu! My precious hair! I can't sacrifice you for this! I have already done a lot of treatment and brought a lot of medicines and shampoos for you, which totals around 1 lakh. I can't sacrifice you! Wait again! What am I thinking about?! I have to escape them first.'

'Actually, Emma, I still have some home—'—direct destination to barbecue restaurant—'Ehhhhhh! How did I end up here?'

'We kidnapped you here,' coming from that boy who is now looking like those sultans in Indian action movies (who is actually none other than a hamster acting all goofy to gain attention from the five other girls in the group). (To myself) 'Wait! I am a girl too, right? Eww! No! No! Not this one, huhff!'

'Whose attention are you trying to chase, dear Sanju?' asked Revati, one of our classmates who always used to stare and try to copy everything I do and wear.

(To myself) 'So, this goofy's name is Sanju...'

However, out of every one of them, my attention was always on that one girl, sitting among us. Her name is Jisu Han, and she came from Thailand. She is sooo elegant and neat. Even sitting and eating like a royal. Sitting all straight with a poker face and rectangle-shaped spectacles over her diamond-shaped face, her black hair tied loosely with logs hanging out elegantly and pushed behind the ears by her long fingers. She always wears a white shirt and black trousers with boots like an office lady. She is the definition of a handsome woman and a baddie.

The glass of wine slipped from my hand and fell on my trousers while watching. (To myself) 'Trousers are black, so it's okay. Thank God it didn't fell all over my shirt. It is training shirt for beginner pilots. It is really important more than my life.'

'Oh shit—'

(To myself) 'I wish I was like her. So clumsy! So clumsy!'

'I am sorry to create an inconvenience for all of you.'

'Nah! It's okay! It can happen anytime,' said Emma.

'I will be going to the bathroom.'

'Yeah. Sure! Wait! I should accompany you too to help you!'

'No, it's okay; I will be fine.'

I was on the way to the girls' washroom. However, a familiar figure caught my attention. He was wearing a black hat, black sunglasses, a black hoodie, and black trousers. He was also wearing a black mask. Though his face was hidden, still his presence felt familiar. However, I couldn't bring myself to ask him. I don't know whether he noticed me or not, but by the time I turned back to look at him. He was gone. I asked the manager of the restaurant about that guy. He said that he is a regular customer there. But, when I asked about the details...

'Keno baba, tomar mone tar proti prem jegeche? ...(Why, my dear, do you have a crush on him?)'

'Wait, no! I just felt like he is familiar!'
