The entire team starts moving towards the top of the mountain. The winds grow stronger, and the terrain drastically changes — a mix of stony land and desert. A thick fog begins to cover everything.
Laitho says, "I can hear someone's voice calling me..."
But no one responds. They had all gotten separated.
Zama bumps into someone — it's Koku. He quickly grabs her hand.
NiZo is spotted by Zimi.
Zimi says, "Fate has brought us together again."
NiZo says nothing.
Meanwhile, Laitho and Hanu also find each other.
Now, the group is split into three parts:
1. NiZo and Zimi
2. Zama and Koku
3. Laitho and Hanu
All of them were completely lost in the fog.
Suddenly, Zama hears a strange noise and sees a giant lizard — about 4 feet tall and 10 feet long. Its eyes were covered with a transparent membrane, helping it hunt in the fog.
Zama gives Koku a stamina-boosting fruit so she can run faster — her stamina doubles.
But the lizard's speed was around 60 km/h — they couldn't outrun it.
It attacks.
Zama grabs Koku and jumps aside, but the lizard's tail hits Zama, sending both of them flying.
Zama's mouth mask falls off.
He looks at the lizard — and starts laughing uncontrollably.
The others hear his laughter through the thick fog.
Zimi says, "Let's go, quick!"
Laitho says, "What was that?"
Hanu heads in the opposite direction — and both he and Laitho fall into a ravine.
Laitho grabs onto a vine, but Hanu falls into the pit.
Back to Zama — the lizard tries to bite him.
Zama moves at lightning speed and slashes both of its front legs with an axe.
The lizard is now unable to walk.
But it lunges toward Koku and swallows her whole.
Zama, without hesitation, slashes open the lizard's belly and pulls Koku out.
She's unconscious.
Zama puts his mouth on hers and performs CPR.
Koku wakes up blushing and says, "Thanks."
NiZo and Zimi arrive just in time. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief as the fog starts to clear.
Then, Laitho arrives and shouts, "Hanu fell into the pit!"
Everyone runs to the spot, but nothing is visible below.
NiZo begins to cry.
Laitho says, "This isn't the time to cry. We all accepted the risk of death the moment we came here."
They search for a while, but find no sign of Hanu.
Laitho finally says, "The lake is close... If we reach there, we'll be safe."
