*Sera's POV*
Three sharp knocks on the door interrupted a moment I desperately wanted to continue. Jaxon's body tensed above mine, his frustration matching my own.
"Lady Seraphina." Orion's voice carried through the door with unmistakable urgency. "We need to move. Now."
Jaxon's eyes darkened. "Can't he wait five fucking minutes?"
"Apparently not," I muttered, gently pushing against Jaxon's chest. "Let me up."
His jaw clenched, but he rolled aside. I grabbed his discarded shirt from the floor and slipped it on. The fabric engulfed me, smelling of pine and wolf. I caught Jaxon's eyes tracking my movements, his gaze hungry.
"Don't answer it like that," he growled.
I arched an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
"You're wearing my shirt." His voice dropped lower, possessive. "Nothing else."
I couldn't help but laugh. "Are you serious right now?"
The knocking grew more insistent. "Lady Seraphina!"
