"Long, long ago—before there were kingdoms, culture, or even the Seven—there lived two brothers."
Our world used to be one whole continent before it split apart like puzzle pieces. Ena Kommati was its name.
It was the first land—whole and undivided.The land crafted and created by the being known as The Eternal Blue.
Two mortals were born: Quincy and Farah.These would become the world's first humans.Together, they birthed two sons.
Liam, the elder brother, who grew into a fine hunter.Isan, the younger brother, a quiet shepherd.
They were blessed with four fantastical beasts—a gift from The Eternal Blue:
Ifrit, the Phoenix
Lilith, the Leviathan
Aerial, the Harpy
Goliath, the Titan
At the coming of age, both sons made offerings to The Eternal Blue.
Liam gave the finest of his hunted prey—clean, whole, and still warm to the touch.A gift worthy of respect… and of the sacrifice that came with it.
Isan gave part of his flock—thin, diseased, and unworthy of a higher power.
And thus was born the first sin:Envy.
Isan's heart filled with jealousy.He asked,
"Why does The Eternal Blue favor him… and not me?"
When The Eternal Blue gave no answer, Isan gave himself one.
He sought forbidden knowledge…And discovered a cursed ability.
Covenant.The power to form—or force—contracts with living beings.
Isan used it to enslave two of the elemental beasts:Ifrit and Lilith.
With them, he unleashed mass destruction.
He burned the sacred forests where Liam hunted.He drowned the valleys where his flocks once grazed.
Liam saw what his brother had become…And swore to stop him.
He summoned the remaining two beasts:Aerial and Goliath.
The two brothers clashed upon Ena Kommati in a war that lasted seven days and seven nights.The world shook.
Their battle carved new valleys, rivers, and volcanoes.The earth bled—And Ena Kommati was torn apart.
In the end, Isan took the Phoenix's feather—A blade of flame—And pierced his brother's heart.
As Liam's body turned to ash,The Eternal Blue appeared.
"You have forsaken yourself… and your blood."
"You have broken your bond, and brought imbalance into the world."
"You will now walk for eternity… until the end of days."
Isan had been marked.
On his left hand, the mark of the Leviathan.On his right, the brand of the Phoenix, seared into his palm.
And so, The Eternal Blue, seeing the destruction the elemental beasts had wrought, sealed them away:
Ifrit, into the planet's core—to warm the earth.
Lilith, into the ocean—to shape its moods and tides.
Goliath, into the mountains—to anchor the land.
Aerial, into the skies—to give wind and song.
Ena Kommati… was no more.
The world was now split into a great X.
Liam became the first Martyr.Isan… the first Murderer.Cursed with eternal life.
Papa will Isan be forgiven?"
