Once upon a time, in this land, there was no concept of seasons. One moment, the air would be scorching hot; the next, rain would pour down without warning.
Sometimes, the weather was comfortably mild, and at other times, it was as cold as glaciers. If people from today had existed then, they would have perished instantly. Such were the harsh environmental conditions.
Because of this brutal climate, people often fought each other for food, clothing, and shelter. Survival was a constant struggle.
In the midst of this chaos, one person stepped forward. He was nothing special—a weak, ordinary lad like any other. But he was accompanied by four beautiful ladies.
Together, they defied the heavens and learned to control the weather.
They mastered the forces of nature and divided the year into four cycles, which would later be known as the four seasons: Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. They decreed that each season should last roughly three months, following the order: Summer → Autumn → Winter → Spring.
By controlling the seasons in this way, they made the land bearable for all living beings to flourish. The people began to worship them as gods.
One day, they decided to leave nature to its own course and entrusted the power to control the four seasons to their four most favored disciples. These disciples were charged with maintaining the balance of the seasons whenever necessary.
In time, these four disciples founded their own families, becoming the most powerful clans in the land. Each family governed one of the four seasons.
As the land prospered, so did humanity. Powerful and brilliant individuals formed territories and forces, which would later be called countries. But with prosperity came greed and malice.
Gradually, the memory of the four original families faded from the people's minds. Yet, the families continued to control the seasons and maintain the balance of nature, ensuring the land's prosperity.
But today, many years later, on this land shaped by the controllers of the four seasons, a boy has lost everything he held dear. He is about to meet one of the most cherished people in the land—a girl—an encounter that will forever change both their futures.
This meeting may reshape the destiny of the land itself, just as the creators of the four seasons once did.
