"Sir, we have movements near the crater!" An operative in the Ark Facility mused, their tone heavy as he brought a map showing the source of the movement. "Wait! By that heat signature, it should be human!" Maeve said, her tone filled with concern and intrigue. 'Who would be dumb enough to make all the way there? The place is doused in radiation.'
"The fact that they had managed to survive for that long is impressive. Can we get a better look with one of the drones?" Eric ordered to which a flurry of clicks could be heard. The camera started making it's way to he source, it's motions slow and deliberate to avoid startling the individual.
"Could it be one of the other kingdoms curious with the crater? After all it's size would attract heads all over the continent." Maeve couldn't help but wonder. "Maybe. But it would be best to get a closer look with the drone for accurate results." The drone drifted past the nuclear wasteland that had worsened with the spiking radiation.
The trees that had managed to survive before we all wiped out giving no clear shelter to the individual treading through the fallout. "There!" Maeve posed, the camera sighting a figure. "Get closer!" Her order executed and with a closer zoom, they couldn't believe their eyes.
"What is Callista doing in Othare?" They asked with no response. Her hands flickered and massive obsidian strands came to be stretching from one end of the kingdom to the other. "She's definitely grown stronger." Eric added, his gaze fixed on the screen.
Eager to purge the tentacles, she sent a dummy obsidian puppet and just as predicted, the air was filled with roars and screams.
"ROOOOOAAAARRRRR!!!!!!!"
Despite the massive difference, she remained aloof as a playful smirk never left her face. "Maybe I should try some calamari some time. Jarren says that it's good fish food." She muttered to herself as she pulled the strings quickly wrapping around the tentacles.
"GAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"
The beast hollered with rage and anguish however she had yet to fully execute her move. More obsidian strings came to be wrapping around the tentacles holding it in place.
"Does she think that's going to cut it?" Maeve scoffed with indignance. "It's too early to say anything, it would be wise to keep on watching." Eric chimed in making her fall silent.
*BAAAAAAAAMMMMMM!!*
The tentacles came crashing down to the ground sending shock waves across the entire ruined kingdom of Othare. Even the drone whilst in the air hummed from the impact. 'Are those fools really watching me? If I kill it so easily then it should give them time to wonder why Jarren wasn't capable of this.'
A head scratcher they wouldn't be able to alleviate. Her hand flickered with more mind boggling glyphs that dwarfed her frame covering the sky. 'Looks like she's getting ready to launch her final attack.' Eric concluded, his beads never once leaving the screen. He too was intrigued what it would be.
The sky darkened and even those at the base wondered what kind of attack she was readying. "Does she plan on ending their world? What is she preparing?" Maeve growing impatient with her attack posed. "Patience Maeve, or do you not recall what happened last time?"
Jarren's cold face flashed in her head making her shudder. She didn't bother anymore.
*Ding*
Her final attack finally came to fruition. 'Should make them think that it's my trump card after all. After all who doesn't love a show?' Callista chuckled devilishly at the bead of obsidian set to fall into obscurity into the crater. "A bead?" Even Eric was puzzled by seeing this. "Maybe there's a catharsis to it." Maeve posed, her tone calm and poised.
*CRACK*
The sound of glass shattering filled their ears. "Cut the audio off!" With a click of a button, the feed was now visual. 'Any longer and I think they I would go deaf!' Eric sighed in his heart as his eyes similar to Maeve's widened in shock. The tentacles wrapped in obsidian strings started to grow a darker shade.
*Two hours later*
'Finally, and here I thought that I would wait for eternity for this.' Callista mused as she rose her finger into the air.
*BOOOOOOOM*
Her glyph faltered, her brows furrowing. 'Is this stuck?!' She groan in displeasure as she instantly increased the complexity of her glyph. The usual two dimensional glyph fractured out of it's regular orbit and entered into the third dimensional rotation. A small sphere forming at her hands as she easily rose her hand.
Isen who was still pondering his acts in Mirevale felt the earth itself groan. "Is the world ending?!" He pondered as his figure after some support finally fell to the ground. Callista who was at Othare formed a platform and moved away from the site as she kept on raising her hand.
*CRAAAAACKKKKKKKK*
Not just the pair but the operatives as well were baffled with what they saw. The tentacle beast she had managed to haul underneath the crater was way larger than they had thought to he point of completely wrapping around the entire kingdom of Othare. Her glyph constantly shifted in design and flow, stepping between the second and the third plane of glyph formations.
The beast that she unearthed turned out to be a colossal octopus, it's eye glowing with jade beneath the obsidian cover. However with her work she managed to completely ruin Othare. From the castle to the city gates, they were all lay in disarray as they collapsed and melted into rubble beneath her feet. "So this is the problem?"
She was amazed with the overall size of the beast as she hadn't expected it be so huge. Spanning over a kingdom wide and it's destructive power bringing a kingdom to it's knees, she wondered what to do with the beast. 'It would be funny to throw it towards Reuthar however it should suffice in my world.'
Space beneath the octopus churned wrong and reality itself seem to form crack like glass before she carefully lowered it in her world. As a trinket to make her recall her feats before letting out a sigh. "Done. Now I should make my way back to Guinevere." Still on her platform, she was whisked away before those watching could muster a word.
"I...If Reuthar faces someone like her, then it might be harder than we thought." Eric mused dryly, his eyes still locked on the screen. His mind was bombarded with a whirlwind of questions to which answers were futile. 'Did she have any other tricks? What was her true extent? Did she harbor any ill will with us? Why wasn't Jarren able to do this?'
Maeve let out a short sigh, her hands shaking at the possibility if she were to face such a person. "She knows where we are and if she wants to topple this base, it won't be hard for her." Her words sent chill down Eric's spine. 'I hadn't thought about the base!' He cried in his mind.
The drone shifted the scene back to Othare, what the missile hadn't obliterated Callista's attack was sufficient as the entire kingdom was nothing more than rubble. "It's hard to say whether she could do the same with Reuthar, Othare had already been bombarded with missiles loosening it's foundations as well as the octopus. After all she struggled with the first attempt."
Eric's analysis easing Maeve. "And besides, her attack takes way too long to unleash, by then we should have ample time to take her down." Her further added however the tense air didn't fully ease up. "Even with all of these, we shouldn't underestimate what she's fully capable of. This alone is enough to make Reuthar shudder."
Maeve's words though down held some truth to them. Downplaying Callista's feats would be equivalent to understating her and a freak like that should be taken seriously. "As for her ability to fracture space, it would seem that she can use it as a disposable chute or storage meaning she could unleash the octopus in Reuthar without warning."
Maeve's face turned pale. If Callista were to release such a monster so casually then they would not doubt face their demise. The beast could wipe out thousands with a swipe of it's tentacle, and it's burrowing trait made it even harder to deal with when it came to using ranged attacks like missiles.
"Hah..." Eric claimed by helplessness couldn't help but let out a self deprecating laugher. 'And with that Hollow Saint...' His laughter persisted. The more he thought about it, the more he realized just how weak they in comparison to them. "Calm down Eric, we can expose this information to the rest of the kingdom and perceiving her as a threat should ally in taking her down."
Maeve urged only to be met with a smile that didn't quite reach Eric's ears. "Do you think they'll target her or try to curry favour with her and Redfall? With a monster like a Hollow Saint, it would be foolish to wage a war with them." He went on however Maeve's chime brought some sense to her.
"As of currently it would seem that they're trying to bring Redfall back onto it's knees so we should have a window to act. Once it closes then we can't do anything but wait for the end." Eric's gaze sharpened stepping out of his maniacal stupor. "You're...not wrong. With how hard Redfall's been hit with the abominations, it would take them some time to recuperate. Security is their main problem so why not use this to our advantage."
"Not to mention with their crashing economy, it should take them even longer as well." The more it dawned on him, the more at ease he grew but not comfortable. "So we have time to kick them while they're down. Worst comes to worst they attack us, the other kingdoms should be obligated to step in and help us recuperate the losses. Not to mention the other kingdoms should see Redfall's rebound as problematic so even they would be hesitant to help them."
Maeve added making Eric regain his calm and regal composure. "Then we should move fast before the window closes." His tone stern dripping with seriousness.

"What was that rumbling I heard?" Isen asked as he saw Callista's approaching figure. "A warning." Her tone playful as a carriage drew closer to the town. "Well here's our ride. Just don't do anything stupid and you should live an easy life." Her words hanging over his neck akin to a guillotine.
"Of course, I wouldn't dare do anything silly." His tone laced with sincerity however she could see past his act. 'He really takes me for a fool.' She mused as she boarded the carriage

"Do you want to head over to Redfall?" Jarren posed making Clomere's fingers playfully twirling on his chest halt. "No, I want you all to myself. It's sheer mercy that I allowed this bitch to survive for this long." Her words sharp as she cast a hateful glance at Diana who slept on the floor. Her body was coated with all kinds of marks and burns, her nails removed and around her neck was a dog collar.
Brutish and basic as her thighs were coated with obscene writings. "Jarren's whore!" And "Cum dump bitch!" Were a select few all thanks to Clomere. Jarren landed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "You want another toy? How about something more... mature." Clomere giggled mischievously as she knew what he meant by this.
"Does that mean that I finally get to kill this slut?" She posed as she yearned to snuff Diana's life. "Slut? She's slept with me alone, just like you." He checked making her laugh nervously. "What? I'm better than her so that makes her a slut. My word is divine as a horror." Her tone high and mighty.
"Divine huh? Then I guess you're my slut then." He laughed as his hands quickly wrapped around her figure making her shirk. "Wait no~~fuck anhh~~" She began a barrage of erotic moans further driving Jarren to keep on going with his taunts.
"I'm your personal slut and whore. Whatever you wish I'll be so fill me provided you're exclusive to me alone." She begged as the two shared a heated kiss. "What? I didn't know you had demands!" His tone playful as he began to pinch her nipples beneath the sheets.
"I'm a lady of class. Your cum bucket but class nonetheless. My standards are high after all." Her statements brought to an end as the two began another round of blissful indulgence.
