Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: The Champion Revelation

For the next couple of days, the fourth year students were given leeway to focus more on their training and perfect their flaws. Such days wasted by the two demons lurking in the academy. In a small pond a few feet away, a couple of two could be seen chatting.

"It's a shame that Saevin met her end so soon. We parted after the meeting, saying that she forgot something in her room and the next thing I hear is that she's dead. The professors haven't done anything with Jarren, all evidence leads to dead ends and students all round are fearful of leaving there rooms."

Lirale gave a heavy sigh as he looked at Eldrion. Lingering in a dark and heavy mood, his situation was both pitiful and tragic. She knew along with some other fifth year students the relationship between the pair. Skeptical of where it would go but pleased that the two were able to connect.

"It truly is a shame. Harold spoke about confronting Jarren about it." She went on, her gaze drifting afar. Way above the academy walls and into a world that existed in her mind. "Don't you think that you should stop him. Sure both are nobles but we can't have Jarren injured before the tournament starts."

Lirale was proud with Eldrion's demeanor. Despite Jarren being a prime suspect, he still had good faith for him and gave him the benefit of the doubt. "I'm sure he'll understand when to back down. Not to mention some fourth year student has been spreading rumors to further taint Jarren's image. Serrant I think."

Eldroin paused for a moment, drawing a raspy breathe before letting out a heavy sigh that felt more than it should. "The two did have a confrontation earlier, once great allies now enemies. It happens." He didn't think much of it. A deathly silence took over before the veil was shattered by Lirale.

"What about that girl you have, Orissa. Wasn't she investigating Jarren and with how close make her a perfect inside eye for us." A recall she had forgotten in her own mind. "As of late she has focused more on her own growth rather than Jarren. After all that was the sole reason she's here to begin with."

As much as Lirale wanted Orissa to keep on going with her investigation, she knew that it would be detrimental to the girl in the long term when the academic term came to an end. "It's great for her and I hope that she succeeds." Her tone light as the two sunk back to the sombre silence.

Their mind overburdened with thoughts as they kept on gazing afar. "About the tournament, who do you think will come out on top?" Hoping to lure Eldrion's attention away from Saevin's death, Lirale perked up. Eldroin looked at the cobblestone floor in contemplation, his eyes narrowed.

"I would state Jarren but I'm sure that Callista is a strong contender for that spot as well. As for the rest, the gap is way too big for them to recover from." His words hinting at the disparity and it was logical. Jarren absolutely dominating his match while Callista winning hers.

They knew that she had dedicated more time to training thus her potency and output would be much greater than before. "I'm sure that Orissa could be up there, right." A tease that let out a chuckle from Eldroin. "She definitely has potential but I doubt that against the two that she could come on top. Maybe in theory to topple Jarren but in the field greatly outclassed."

The shift Lirale wanted resulting with a heavy and sulky air that was perfect for contemplation. "I'm sure that Kevlar could hold his own now." Eldroin looked at Lirale, his eyes usually calm now blunt. "I know what you're doing and I appreciate it but can you give me some time alone?"

Pursing her lips, Lirale rose to her feet and left. Alone with his thoughts, Eldroin recalled the time he had spent with her. The rendezvous activities they would be upto late at night, the breaks they took at Bolyres and so forth. Her smile, her charm and her need for justice and equality.

Thus she acknowledged Eldroin's work of accommodating people of humble origins and forming a faction for them. How she was skeptical upon hearing Jarren's inclusion and pleased when he was exiled from joining any faction shortly after.

'Damn it!' Cursing in his mind for not taking his chance with her, his face grew grim with each passing second.

"The tournament is two days away, you excited?" Jarren posed, his hands pocketed as a tome floated around him aimlessly. It's contents nothing more than crude information to him as seated opposite to him was Callista. The two were in the Arcane Archives, the section secluded from any prying ears.

"Not really. I don't care what happens." Her tone flat lacking any form of enthusiasm whatsoever. She looked at the devil of a person seated next to her. His smile serpentine as it lingered with a malicious edge she had yet to crack. "Don't worry because there should be someone of interest I want you to meet."

The books on the table that were once dense in knowledge now felt shallow and linear. She knew that it had something to do with the necklace and Karlshhein's death assimilation into her being. A blessing and a curse. "Do you believe in gods?" His tone followed with a tilt of his head.

"No, but my mother does." She recalled how her mother would urge her to remain holy and pure to receive the gods blessing. She would urge that she wasn't a light elementalist but hee mother wouldn't have it. "Well they are going to send knew of their champions amidst the students of Vorthmere. His name Brose Ember, fire elementalist."

The air around her dead as a graveyard, each breathe she drew failed to pierce through the veil of otherworldly silence. "Why are you telling me this?" Her hands neatly folded on the table. "I want you to know that other than just me, there will be other players as well. Four champions sent by the gods that monitor this world."

"And the one you'll see is one of them. However there will be other individuals that you'll meet. Four of them as well however unlike the champions, they won't play fair. Some curious, others apathetic." With his tone, it was clear that he knew what would come to pass. "It's clear that you're powerful so why don't you kill them on the spot. Or are you bored that you won't."

His smile grew wider, the unnerving shiver following as expected. "Well naturally. But don't worry they won't kill you yet." She fell silent, her eyes calm as always. "I take it that you're the one responsible for this merge of the two worlds." A possibility that had been stuck in her mind for quite some time. A wink was enough to confirm her suspicion.

"What about Orissa? Are you going to kill her or turn her into what I am?" She knew about the girl that lurked about thanks to Lirale. "Eh..." His tone light as it trailed on with no direction. "I don't know. I was thinking to kill her before I left but now, I don't know." Without warning he rose to his feet and picked a book on the shelf.

She watched his movements, perfect and potent with purpose. His fingers grabbing the book and bringing it back to her. Now towering behind her, he lowered his head to her ear. She looked at the book, her mind puzzled about the cover.

[{Fractured Reflections}]

Instinctually, she reached out to it and flipped the first couple of pages. "What is this?" The pages blank as she looked at him, their faces barely spaced from each other. "Something I want you to be finished by the time I'm done with you. Don't worry, just start with the first page and the rest will come."

She was still skeptical and then it happened. Feeling his touch on her shoulder, she acted to his whim and with his guidance rose her to her feet. "Callista Vaewlyn, I've always wondered how your body would feel. I just hope that you're not desensitized down there." Both on the same eye level, she looked at his obsidian with her transparent eyes, seeing a starry sky that shouldn't be.

She knew that this was bound to happen sooner or later and was surprised that it had taken him this long to come about it. She felt his fingers run across her blazer before delving deeper till brushing across her soft skin. No yelps or squeals as she remained locked with his eyes.

His smile slowly died the more he went with his exploration. "Please." Aware of what he wanted, she made her hands to her shirt and with a couple of quick swift motions undid her shirt exposing her heavy cleavage held with her bras. His hands now on her jugs, she watched akin to a spectator as he pulled them down.

Her nipples yet to emerge cherry, her pink areolas adorable. His gaze intensified on her body, pleased with what he saw as he made a light nudge on her chest making her fall onto the table, her back on the books making her boobs jiggle with the impact. With a light sigh, she readied herself of what was to come.

Grabbing the book given to her, she started on the first chapter, words now reflected onto the page. Each emerge felt more natural and less mind boggling. As for Jarren, he grabbed her hips, drawing her closer to him as he watched her figure on the table. His member already excited as a small tent was present on his pants.

The shame and coyness that she was meant to feel now absent as she went on with her reading, her insight slowly growing with each passing second. Knowledge about her necklace and her elemental flowed into her mind as she sifted through the pages.

Jarren raised her skirt exposing her crotch that was away from his grasp thanks to the silky white undergarments. His cynical smile flashing once more, he lowered his pants and exposing his fully erect member that stood tall, ready to dive in and fully explore every inch of her body. Callista who was still locked in her book saw the crown in-between her cleavage before going back to her book.

It started with a light tease, his head kissing her folds but no reaction came from her. Realizing this, a small chuckle escaped his lips. Properly grabbing her hips, he rammed his cock into her pussy breaking her hymen and kissing her womb's entrance. "Hah!" Her dead eyes faltered as she wished to let out a gasp but refrained.

Blood trickled down his shaft, his member firmly held to the point of asphyxiation. He admired how tight she would wrap around his dick as he slowly pulled it out and examined what he was working with. Her folds seemed to latch onto his cock, faint shiver across her legs.

"Try to enjoy this as much as possible." A comment that she wanted to ignore but his ram made her breathe hitch. Her mounds moving with the impact as her cove wrapped itself around his shaft. Her eyes drifted down to what he was doing. "Don't worry, I'll make sure that you feel great while you read. I promise."
