Blood was gushing out of 'Xiao Tian's' left shoulder. He was in very pain.
Because he protected Su Han, the bullet struck his left shoulder. Naturally, the pain was intense. Although he had been injured before, this was entirely different—it couldn't be compared. This was the first time he had suffered such a serious wound. Even a veteran soldier would have been hurt by it, let alone Xiao Tian, who had been just an ordinary high school boy until now and was completely unaccustomed to such pain.

"Xiao Tian!" 'Su Han' greatly panicked. Tear's started to roll out of her pretty eyes. She took out her handkerchief and tied it around his shoulder so as to stop the bleeding.

*creak* a breaking sound can be heard. The tables and chairs of the stall were squashed completely.
"what's happening?"
'old man' came out to check on this. but when he saw 'Xiao Tian' on the floor with blood, he got worried.
"Tiane'r? what happened?" 'old man' worriedly asked.
"this…" 'Xiao Tian' was about to tell something, but someone interrupted. A group of 10 people was standing in front of them. And in the center of the group stood a frightening-looking man with a scar across his face.
"Boss Meng?" 'old man' quivered.
"yo! You have quite some nerves to miss giving the protection fees heh?" one of the 10 people spoke. Each of them looked like they had well built-up figure. And each one of them had a chain or a wooden or iron bat for hitting purposes. It could be seen that they were local thugs.
But these 10 people and their leader were not any normal local thugs. These people were the lowest level henchmen of the 'Cheng Group'.
'Cheng Group' was one of the 3 big shots of the 'Kolkata City' in which 'Xiao Tian' resides. They have a lot of power in the city. Recently, their power and influence has been increased rapidly in the city. They usually control the city by force. And they have control of every gang in the city. These low level henchmen are used by them to usually go to collect the money from various low level vendor's and report it to their leader.
"hehhe 'old man' when are you going to pay the protection fees?" another one asked.
"this…"" please give me some time boss!"" I am not having much income this few these…" It's true—his business had been declining slightly; otherwise, he would have paid everything on time.
Actually what they were doing is illegal, but nothing can be done. Even police and law protection can't do anything.
First, they don't have enough evidence, since people are too afraid to come forward and give statements. Second, just the name 'Cheng Group' is enough to make anyone in the city piss their pants.
*creak* Another breaking sound can be heard. They started to break the stall bit by bit and started to take stall item's which seemed valuable as protection money.
"that.. leave that…" Those were the items the old man used for his stall. Without them, he wouldn't be able to run it anymore. So, in desperation, he grabbed onto their legs, refusing to let go.
"you haven't paid the money so it's retribution" those thugs started to laugh and kicked 'old man'.
"ahh!" 'old man' screamed in pain.
The person standing in the middle called boss 'Meng' turned his vision. He could see a celestial beauty.
"hehhe! What a beauty!! Come! Spend a night with me. I will pleasure you" 'Boss Meng's eyes were filled with lust as they roved over Su Han's exquisite body.
"you!!" 'Su Han's' face was filled with disgust and ice-cold killing intent. She really disliked this kind of guys. She doesn't give an eye to these kinds of people.
"hey! What a cold face, I like it. Bring her to me" 'boss meng' ordered licked his lips and smirked and he ordered his guys. 2 guys went to get 'Su Han'.
"you!!" 'Su Han' was about to do something, but a strong, fiery hand gently yet firmly gripped her left hand. She didn't need to imagine who it was. She had already felt this sensation once. When he saved her from the pestering of the henchmen of the 'Young Master Jiang'.
"Stay back," a confident voice echoed in her ear.
*wiss* a light gust of wind flew forward. A wounded person could be seen getting up. He got up with but with light difficulty and took Su Han's hand, helping her to her feet like a prince.
"just stand back" he gave her a warm smile and shielded her. It was 'Xiao Tian'. He has awakened his mysterious state, and he doesn't want anyone to hurt 'Su Han'. He subconsciously wants to protect her.
"who are you kid? You want to become an hero saving the beauty? Get lost and drink some milk" the 2 thugs who were getting near them spoke laughingly.
"get lost!" 'Xiao Tian' spoke with infinite coldness.
"you moth…er!!" the 2 thugs were pissed off. This nobody was telling them to get lost? By looking at 'Xiao Tian' it could be told that he is not a rich person and 'Su Han' was not wearing any expensive clothes so they thought she was a poor girl. And decided to lay a hand on her. But they don't know that they had layed hands on a sleeping volcano—and now, no one can save them now.
The 2 thugs brandished their weapons and made to hit 'Xiao Tian'.
His chaos necklace shone brightly. A voice rang in his mind.
"just be careful of that middle person"" he has reached martial art's master stage". A voice ringed in his mind.
"ok!"
*blinking speed* he used this to increase the speed. And vanished from their eyes.
*power punch* he appeared in front of them. He clenched his fist tightly and punched in their abdomen with each one with one hand.
"ahh!" the thugs splitted saliva due to impact on stomach and felt to the ground. These two were just normal people who always just relied on weapons or brute strength. And 'Xiao Tian' was also currently a normal person. Just his brain is little faster than normal people. But since he relied on his speed, which is greater than normal people and a punching technique although he had no complete mastery of it, with the help of his mysterious state he could easily took these thugs down.
'Su Han' was slightly surprised but did not give so much thought to it since he was wounded and is trying to protect her. She was feeling very secure by seeing at his broad back. But was also very worried for him.
A normal bullet wounded person would have fainted by now even if it hitted on other than vital spot's.
But the thugs have not who got hit not yet fainted since it was not enough for them. Due to everyday fighting their body was stronger than average people.
A shadow flashed in an instant towards 'Xiao Tian'.
"watch out!" 'Su Han' and 'master yun' spoke worriedly.
"ahh!" a fierce punch landed on his 'Xiao Tian' abdomen and he felt on his knees.
"A hero saving a beauty, huh? I really underestimated you!""My men are no match for you! Now, let's finish this!"
With that, the person pulled out a knife.
