I breathed out as Jigoro sama said and I could see a steam coming out of the gaps of my teeth. I crouched by keeping my left leg extended and leaned outward. I focused on the muscles of my legs solely, following its blood movements and making my body light, my wrists tight, throbbing with power.
I lowered my head and imagined thunder. The way it moved. And dashed at the 10 targets. Wishing a split second, I cut them all to peices.
"Good job, quite remarkable at that. You learned a breathing technique's root form within a day"
Improve it, and I'll see whether you're ready to learn the next 3 forms next week or not.
I nodded and continued training.
I believed that as master said , the first form derives the next 5 of them, I decided to make derivatives of first form, solely for me.
So I decided to add something to strengthen the form.
At the end of the week when master came to inspect my training I showed him what I had done.
At the forest, I resumed my stance and looked at the 25 trees ahead of me, praying for the destruction I'm about to cause.
"Thunder Breathing: First Form: Thunderclap and Flash- Shatter"
I dashed at the 4 trees infront of me and I didn't just cut it, but as soon as my sword touched it, the 4 trees shattered. I decided to use this method for stronger Demons.
I jumped back and dashed at the next ten trees "Thunderclap and Flash- AfterImpact"
And as the name said it, the trees would not even budge after the sword went through it, but as I touch the ground, the speed resonating between the trees is broken, and the trees shatter.
I returned to master and bowed to him.
"Marvellous Raijin, I guess its time to teach you the next 3 forms"
The next morning followed by my training was then called by Jigoro sama .
"The next forms, 2nd and 3rd, Rice Spirit and Thunder Swarm need Thunder itself to work.
Yes, the thunder itself. When you use breathing, and imagine yourself as thunder itself, you gain the speed and energy enough to create limitless thunder as much as your body could permit."
I understood what he was saying and bent my knees a little and then completely, closed my eyes and thought of thunder. The one that struck me and finally, I touched it. The reverberating ripples went through my body and I heard Thunder crackling.
"Perform the first form again now"
I did and it was 100 times faster.
"Amazing , your Thunder is a white color one. That's rare."
"Now try to throw out that Thunder in 5 slashes simultaneously "
I proceeded and it was successful.
"Now, be faster and and throw them in all directions at that tree in front of you"
I gave all my speed and strength to this attack and proceeded as instructed.
I slashed vertically, horizontally and in all arches in all directions towards the target, and urged the thunder to bend and move in that way.
It was successful.
"Do you still have a bit of strength left Raijin?"
"Yes Sensei"
"Okay then, try the 4th Form- Distant thunder"
"Jump back, concentrate the thunder at the tip of the katana , and target at the tree"
I proceeded to do so, and as I saw, a ball of lighting formed and I controlled the thunder to hit the tree which was half burnt by now.
The tree was reduced to ashes now, after this attack.
The thunder weared off, and I laid on the ground.
"Great Job Raijin, Now plant a tree again, and take rest. From tommorow, for the next 3 weeks, perfect your techniques , impress me and then I'll teach you the last 2 techniques"
I nodded and got ready to proceed for my rest.
I went straight to the bath, got washed up, and washed my katana. This was Jigoro sama's personal one and he said he will give me mine when I go for the Final Selection exam for demon slayers. Which would be a temporary one, as the corps would then provide me with my official sword.
I went outside while taking Akira on my shoulder and planted a plant each on the places where the trees were burnt.
I looked at the setting sun, "I promise to be a good man, Father." And patted Akira on the head as I headed back into the estate.
