Number Theory is the first Subject we shall be considering, under Pure Mathematics.
The Theory of Numbers is the study of Integers and related objects.
What are INTEGERS?
We have different types of numbers in mathematics:
*natural numbers: These are the counting numbers. And it starts from 1. Examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on.
*whole numbers: This set of numbers includes all natural numbers plus zero. Examples: 0, 1, 2, 3, and so on.
*rational numbers and irrational numbers
*real numbers and imaginary numbers
*Integers
