Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Samsara Eye

Izanami wasn't sure if it was because his potential hadn't fully awakened, or if his Chakra reserves were still too shallow. Regardless, his first awakening of the Izanami bloodline didn't last just a few days—it persisted for a full two weeks.

During those two weeks, he lived in total darkness, as though he were blind.

Most people would have found that state unbearable—trapped in darkness, frustrated, and irritable. But not Izanami. Oddly enough, he lived quite comfortably during this time.

That was thanks to Hinata.

Hinata had always been someone gentle and considerate, the embodiment of a Yamato Nadeshiko—a virtuous, nurturing woman. Her care was meticulous, bordering on saintly. She either brought him home-cooked meals or bought ingredients and prepared food for him herself. Three times a day, without fail.

Afraid he'd grow stiff from lying down all day, she would help him walk around the room and the living area. She even assisted him with washing up—scrubbing his back and washing his hair, all without the slightest hint of embarrassment.

Whenever Team 8 had missions, Hinata would take on double the workload, completing tasks in Izanami's place. When there were no missions, she'd send a Shadow Clone to stay by Izanami's side, or sometimes come herself, leaving a clone behind to ensure she didn't miss anything. She was constantly worried that he might feel lonely.

In those two weeks, Izanami barely lifted a finger. All he had to do was open his mouth to eat and raise a hand to change clothes. He lived like a man who had given up on the world—and yet, Hinata was more motivated than ever. Having been under Izanami's protection for years, this was the first time she got to care for him. Each day, she woke up determined to do her best, even dreaming of receiving praise from him.

Fortunately, Hyuga Hiashi never witnessed this situation. If he had, he might have clenched his fists in rage at seeing his daughter serve someone like a housewife.

But as the saying goes, happy times don't last forever.

After being blind for half a month—his brain constantly secreting Chakra and strange sensations wriggling inside his eyes—everything finally settled.

The power of All-Creation had reached its first stage.

That morning, Hinata closed the curtains and locked the door. She knelt beside Izanami, unwrapping the bandages over his eyes.

"Izanami-kun," she asked softly, "is your Bloodline Limit also a kind of Dojutsu?"

"Yes," he nodded.

Her eyes lit up with curiosity. "Could it be… you've awakened the legendary Rinnegan? Or maybe the Red Eyes that counter the Byakugan?"

Why not just say Ketsuryugan while you're at it? Izanami inwardly complained.

Out loud, he calmly said, "I'm not sure either. If my brain hadn't suddenly started producing Chakra, I wouldn't have realized I awakened a hidden Bloodline Limit. You'll see it in a moment."

"Okay, okay!" Hinata leaned forward excitedly and carefully removed the final bandage.

As she gazed at his still-closed eyes, anticipation filled the room.

When Izanami slowly opened them, Hinata's eyes widened in astonishment. She gasped and covered her mouth.

"They're… beautiful…"

In the dim room, his eyes glowed with a radiant blue-white light, like luminous pearls in the night. His sclera remained white, but his irises were sky-blue, and his pupils emitted shimmering light. A delicate white pattern formed around the iris—ethereal and breathtaking.

These eyes hadn't been seen in a thousand years, or perhaps had never existed on Earth before. They weren't one of the Three Great Dojutsu, nor were they Ketsuryugan or any offshoot of the Uchiha or Hyuga clans.

They were the Reincarnation Eye—a Dojutsu on par with, or even beyond, the Rinnegan. An eye that embodied creation and destruction.

"So powerful…" Hinata murmured, captivated.

Izanami gently touched the corner of his right eye. He looked directly at Hinata, but his gaze extended far beyond—through houses, trees, the Hidden Leaf Village, across forests and cities.

It was as if an invisible web spread across the entire Land of Fire.

Compared to his previous Bloodline Limit·Byakugan (Gold), which allowed an impressive 80-kilometer range, the Reincarnation Eye's vision rendered that obsolete. It was like comparing a child soldier to a Kage-level powerhouse.

And this was only the first awakening.

What about the second stage? Or the final evolution?

The potential was terrifying.

Withdrawing his extended gaze, Izanami focused back on Hinata, who was still leaning forward. He noticed her form—shapely curves, clad in a black fishnet lining with her zipper undone. His mouth twitched.

Apparently, the Reincarnation Eye came equipped with a built-in censorship system. When he attempted to use X-ray vision on her, he didn't see skin, but rather internal organs, skeletons, and flowing Chakra pathways.

Trash, Izanami thought bitterly. Completely useless.

Still, the knowledge that another Reincarnation Eye existed on the moon offered him some comfort.

Hinata noticed the flicker of emotion on his face.

"Izanami-kun, are you exploring your new powers?" she asked, intrigued.

"Yes," he replied, smiling. "My Dojutsu isn't the Rinnegan or anything you mentioned. It seems to be an entirely new—or possibly ancient—eye technique."

"What kind of abilities does it have?" she asked eagerly.

"Let me show you. Rise."

He lifted his hand toward her.

Suddenly, Hinata's body began to float. She rose off the ground as if she'd been launched into space—weightless, freed from gravity.

But Izanami hadn't fully mastered this power.

Hinata, who was slightly shorter than him, drifted up and lightly bumped into him. With his balance thrown off, he toppled to the ground.

"Ouch, ouch…"

Only one person cried out. Hinata was completely unharmed—the impact force mysteriously absorbed.

"Are you okay, Izanami-kun?"

She lay on top of him, completely uninjured, her face flushed with concern.

"I'm fine," he coughed. "I just… overdid it."

He helped her up and smiled. "That was one of the abilities. Gravity manipulation."

Hinata blinked in awe. "That wasn't Wind Release?"

"Nope. Gravity. And this—"

He pointed at a decorative vase in the corner of the room.

Crash!

The vase shattered against the wall as if thrown, though nothing had touched it. Its fragments floated mid-air before gently depositing themselves into the trash bin.

"So… amazing…" Hinata whispered, stunned.

Izanami's lips curled upward.

Finally, he had the strength to protect himself.

The first awakening of the Reincarnation Eye granted two foundational upgrades and three active powers.

The foundational upgrades were:Sublimated long-distance vision – practically global in scale.Colored X-ray vision – though unfortunately, still censored. The three active abilities were:Gravity manipulation – controlling attractive forces.Repulsion – repelling objects at will.Wireless puppets – akin to the Six Paths Technique. The third was especially unique. Izanami could channel Chakra through his Reincarnation Eye, condense it into a "core," and inject it into a puppet, essentially giving it life—a beating heart, of sorts.

These puppets could be controlled over vast distances and could release high-speed Chakra projectiles, like light bullets.

It was unfortunate that he hadn't yet unlocked Yin-Yang Release. With it, he could have created black receivers and supplied Chakra remotely to these puppets.

Still, this was only the beginning.

Opening a holographic screen visible only to himself, he checked his current status:

[Host: Izanami] [Talent Entries: - Bloodline Limit·Reincarnation Eye (Red), - Ōtsutsuki Bloodline (Red), - Sage's Eye (Red), - Prince of Byakugan (Red), - Six Paths Talent (Red), - Chakra Control (Gold), - Uzumaki Bloodline (Purple) [+], - All-Attribute Physique (Purple) [+], - Medical Genius (Blue) [+] ] [Points: 12,391]

The Bloodline Limit·Byakugan had been replaced by the Reincarnation Eye and had upgraded from Gold to Red. Not only that—it now ranked above even the Ōtsutsuki Bloodline, sitting at the top.

"The ultimate Dojutsu… definitely beyond Red," Izanami murmured to himself, heart brimming with resolve.

He was ready for what came next.
