Chapter 87 - — Reversum vs. Fractured Domain

The sky seemed to weigh down upon Herocity. The streets lay in ruins, buildings collapsed into pillars of smoke, and in the center of that chaos, two figures faced each other:

Ryan Valeborne and Hant.

Hant wore a twisted smile, his eyes burning with the same coldness that warped the space around him.

Hant:"Ryan Valeborne… the one who holds power even the gods can't perceive."

He dropped the smile, his tone turning sharp."I've wanted to meet you since the Draft. You carry the soul of a true hero… unlike the rest of these frauds."

Ryan clenched his fists, breathing heavy.Ryan:"Hant… why? Why are you destroying everything? Killing people? This isn't you. I don't want to hurt you, man."

For an instant, Hant's eyes went blank. Then he raised his hand—space around him cracked with invisible fractures, unveiling an alternate reality.

A perfect Herocity: clean streets, intact towers, absolute peace.

Hant:"You want to know why? This is why. I've seen it since the Draft. The so-called modern heroes… they don't carry Ray Stormbreak's legacy. They care more about money, fame, and image than saving lives. They've become celebrities."

He clenched his fist—the vision glowed and dissolved into nothingness.

"There are still exceptions—Inavy, Darius, Kelvin, Lorien, Diana, Rose. The old guard. But this generation? Lost. The only one who still carries that true legacy… is you.And that's what angers me. Because you're not worthy of it."

Ryan stood silent, the weight of those words crushing him.

Hant smirked bitterly."Ever heard it said that every man is born good?"

The false city vanished. Darkness swallowed everything.

Hant:"The world corrupted me, Ryan. And now… I'm just giving the world what it asked for."

His gaze ignited with hatred."A VILLAIN!"

He lunged forward. The blows came so violently that entire buildings collapsed. Ryan dodged, countered, struggled—but space shattered like glass around him, distorting every move.

Hant:"Reversum is nothing but an illusion. A temporary inversion that never changes fate."

Ryan (burning with resolve):"Reversum isn't just power. It's hope. It's choice. It's the chance to defy the inevitable. And I will defeat you, Hant!"

The villain grinned and opened his domain.

[Fractured Domain: Shattered Reality]

The world split into glasslike cracks. Every strike, every movement repeated with delay, multiplied from different angles, creating illusions and unexpected attacks.

Ryan hurled a punch—the air quaked—yet his fist vanished into nothing… and reappeared meters behind, slamming into his own body.

Hant (low, cruel):"Here, even your strength is lost among the fractures."

Space bent energy, reflecting even Ryan's Reversum back at him. The young hero collapsed into rubble, coughing blood.

Ryan (thoughts trembling):"He's… breaking my attacks…"

Hant walked slowly, each step echoing like spreading cracks through the ground.

Hant:"Inside my domain, you'll never land a blow. You still don't understand, Ryan. Everything here bends to my will. Your Reversum is useless."

Ryan panted, then lifted his reversive aura."Damn… I need to release 55% of Reversum. I can still push to 80% without losing control."

His hair rose, his skin glowed, and his energy erupted around him in harmonic spirals. He nullified the distorted reflections and charged forward.

Hant struck with crushing force—but Ryan unveiled a new technique:

[Contradiction Burst — Contradict Burst]

When struck, Ryan channeled Reversum to reverse the incoming energy and return it as an explosive counterattack—a natural parry of his own body.

The clash thundered across the ruins.

But Hant was relentless. His domain pressed down, twisting every defense until Ryan fell to his knees, body battered, breath ragged.

Hant laughed."You have no idea what it means to fight against a world shattered into pieces. Your Reversum is nothing but a faint spark."

Ryan tried to rise, but his body no longer obeyed. The Fractured Domain suffocated him.

And then—

A prismatic flash tore through the sky.

Beams of multicolored light exploded in every direction, piercing the domain and forcing Hant to stagger back.

From that radiance, Annie Halloway emerged.

Her eyes shone like crystal. Behind her, floating prisms of light multiplied her presence in countless reflections.

Annie (smiling firmly):"Hey… you're not falling alone."

Ryan's eyes widened.Ryan:"Annie… no! It's too dangerous!"

But she was already moving. Her dance of acceleration and refraction echoed strikes at multiple angles, tearing cracks through Hant's domain with every blow.

For a fleeting moment, it looked like she might overwhelm him.

Until Hant raised his hand and whispered:Hant:"Insolent."

Space shattered around her like spiraling glass. With a snap of his fingers, a fracture sliced straight through Annie.

Her light went out.

Ryan (screaming):"NOOOO!"

Her body fell into his arms. Prism shards floated like broken glass in the air. She grasped his hand, her voice faint.

Annie:"Ryan… even if I fall… your light can still shine. Don't let him… snuff you out…"

Blood slipped from her lips. Her eyes closed.

Ryan's scream ripped through the ruins.

Pain, rage, despair—everything shattered inside him.

And then… Absolute Reversum awakened.

Dark energy edged with galaxy-blue engulfed his body like a divine mantle. His eyes turned pure white, devoid of pupils. The ground disintegrated beneath his feet. The sky split into black rifts, thunder echoing backwards across the horizon.

It was no longer Ryan fighting.

It was the avatar of chaos and creation.

Narrator:"The young man was no longer human. He rose as a god. A presence even Hant had not foreseen."

For the first time, Hant grew serious.Hant:"So… this is the true Reversum."

And the entire air trembled as Ryan took his first step—no longer a hero, but an absolute entity.
