Morning continued steadily across the Osborn compound as the sound of construction echoed through the eastern courtyard. Workers had already finished digging the shallow foundation trenches, and several large stone blocks were being lowered carefully into place. The structure that would become the clan's information building had begun to take shape. Wooden frames rested nearby waiting to be raised, while piles of cut stone lined the edges of the courtyard.
Robert passed the construction area slowly, watching the workers for a moment before continuing across the compound. The building would take several weeks to finish, but the foundation work alone had already drawn quiet attention from the clan members moving through the courtyard. Some paused briefly to look at the site before returning to their tasks.
