As the caravan kept getting closer and closer to the ambush area, Ren Wei suddenly thought of a new idea.
His original idea was to attack the base of Blood Mist Hall all by himself. Even it was a risky plan, he was confident.
Now, after seeing the caravan of Spirit Beast Mountain, he suddenly found a new idea.
From what he heard, the Spirit Beast Mountain and Blood Mist Hall was currently in war, even though it was a not all out war.
If he offers the Spirit Beast Mountain his strength, maybe he could form a team with them and continue forward his plan.

Now, all he had to do was wait for the ambush to start and save the Spirit Beast Mountain people and the rest was just as easy.
Thinking of that, he waited.
As he waited, the caravan kept on closing in.
And when the caravan was just a few distance away from the hiding place of the assassins, it stopped.
Ren Wei was a bit surprised when he saw that. He was amazed that the people of Spirit Beast Mountain could detect the assassins.
Even he was not sure if he could do that if he was on the same level as the assassins.
However, he was wrong to think that.
After stopping, one person from the Spirit Beast Mountain side came forward and spoke. He was also a Dharma Phantom Realm.
"Friends from the Blood Mist, please come out. We are here."
His voice didn't carry the tone of something you should speak when talking to an enemy. It was rather harmonious.

From their side, the leader also stood forward and with a hearty laugh, he responded. "Hahaha, Friends from Beast Mountain are here."
The two sides exchanged their greeting swiftly and went right back to business.
Pointing at the caravan behind them, the leader of the Spirit Beast Mountain team said. "All the things are inside. We disguise ourselves like this just to avoid them."
"You are right. Those dogs of Qin clan are to much of a dog. Sniffing everything. You were right to do that." The Blood Mist team leader said as he handed a spatial ring to the leader of Spirit Beast Mountain team.
As he waved his hand, the assassins from the Blood Mist Hall approached the caravan and took off the cover. Beneath the cover was wooden boxes with seals of talismans or something like that.
One of the assassins tore the seal of talisman and revealed the things inside that wooden box.
When Ren Wei saw the things inside that box, his eyes widened.
The things inside were jars, full of bloods. Not just some random bloods of beasts or anything like that. But rather with bloods of humans. More specifically, children's blood.
Looking at the Blood jars, the assassins leader smiled underneath the mask.
Beside him, the Spirit Beast team leader stood and smiled. He smilingly asked. "So, how is this to your satisfaction?"
The assassins leader replied. "With this boxes, it will be enough for our second master to reach that Realm. By then, we won't need to fear those dogs of the Qin clan and even the Qin clan."
"And with our two sects together, it will be more than enough to occupy half of this kingdom."
"Then, we will slowly surround them and devour them."
"Hahahaa...."
After the assassins leader stopped laughing, he immediately went silent. Underneath his mask, his face was filled with fear and confusion.
As a seasoned veteran assassin and a Dharma Phantom Realm expert, how could easily said those words out loud. He was perfectly capable of holding himself.

Both sides immediately drew weapons, ready to confront eachother.
At first, the assassin leader felt maybe it was the doing of Spirit Beast Mountain. He felt they might have done something when they opened the seal or something.
But when he thought about it, he felt iwas not likely. Because they have been allies for years. So, it was unlikely that they would suddenly turned their back to them. Knowing that the things were for their second leader.
And their leader's action confirmed it too.
So his thought suddenly felt into a third party.
Seeing his silent posture, the Spirit Beast team leader thought he caught him.
Without waiting for him to speak, he immediately ordered his team to attack the assasins. "Attack them. They are not our allies, they are disguises."
His sound of attack immediately brought the assassin leader's mind back to the moment. But it was too late.
Before he could calm down the scene and clear the misunderstanding, a war broke out.
Seeing their leader running towards him, ready to attack, he sighed.
Now, the only thing he could do was to subdue him and calm the angry waves.
And just like, a sudden war broke out in between the two sides.
Distance away, in the shadows, Ren Wei was watching in a calm and collected expression.
It was all his doings. From the moment the assassin leader suddenly started speaking everything to that point of war. He simply cast an illusion.
The reason he did that was simple. He needed to test something. And it was also because he was in extreme anger at that moment.
When he first saw the bloods of children, his heart was filled with uncontrollable anger and sadness. He was no hero, but he could not turn a blind eye when innocent people are getting hurt.
At first, he thought of killing all of them by himself. But after thinking about it, he decided not leave his traces. So, he let them turn to eachother.
Crossing his arms across his chest, he looked towards the battle with coldness in his eyes.
At that moment, his anger and hate for the Spirit Beast Mountain was to the extreme. More stronger than towards the Blood Mist Hall.
For the Blood Mist Hall, it was simply a revenge. But for the Spirit Beast Mountain, they were doing a forbidden thing.
It was an unwritten rule among the Immortal cultivators that in no circumstances they should not intentionally hurt mortals. Specially children.

The loud of sound of fighting with devastating forces clashing eachother and people screaming, dying, eachoed through the remote forest.
But not a single sound of it was heard outside the forest, not even to the edge of it. Simply because Ren Wei sealed the forest with his domain. Otherwise, the loud sounds would have already attracted powerful people from the nearby places by then.
For quite a while, the fight didn't ease at all.
It continued for about two hours before ultimately all members of both sides were killed. Some by others, and the remaining died from the shock from the clshes of the two Dharma Phantom Realm experts.
At the end, only the two of them were remained standing in front of eachother, exhausted.

After the dust and wind settled, the aftermath was shocking.
