Chapter 51 - THE END

Qasim's voice trembles as he looks ahead.

"That day… when you came to fight Abdullah,

I saw something — you were wearing a ring.

Not just any ring…

It was the same ring that belonged to Uncle Ali Ibn Mudassir.

And that means only one thing…

You must have taken it from the box.

The very same box your father gave you."

He steps forward slowly, every word carrying weight.

"Second thing — when you fought Abdullah…

You used fighting skills.

Not just any skills — the ones I taught you.

But you hide them.

You tried not to use them in front of me…

Because you knew I would recognize them.

Instead, you used the techniques from that book.

The book you thought I didn't understand.

You thought I didn't know about those ancient skills.

You thought I wouldn't notice the truth…

That cursed path — yes, that path —

You knew about it too, didn't you?

Because it's written in that same book.

Just like that name… Yousif.

Yes… that name too — it's written there."

He pauses for breath, emotions swelling in his chest.

**"And how do I know all of this?"

His voice drops to a whisper.

"Because when I was a child…

Uncle taught me everything about that book.

Every secret. Every chapter. Every story.

I grew up learning its power.

But you… you never paid attention back then.

That's why your father took it away from you.

He hide it…

So that maybe, one day in the future,

When you were ready…

You would seek it again.

And only then… you would understand its true value."

Qasim takes a heavy step back, looking at the horizon.

"You came to me back then, saying you wanted to learn the language.

But that wasn't it, was it?

You didn't come for language…

You came to solve the puzzle.

Because you never learned it before.

And I was the one who did.

That's why you needed me."

He chuckles softly — more hurt than bitter.

"I never wanted to steal that book from you.

I never wanted to take anything.

But when you came…

When you started learning the language…

That's when I read your book.

And in silence…

I learned the rest."

He takes a deep breath, and then suddenly —

He stumbles, pain shooting through his side.

His hand clutches at the wound on his stomach.

He groans — the pain nearly unbearable.

He steps back.

And when he turns around,

He's standing on the edge of a cliff.

The wind blows gently, brushing his torn clothes.

His voice softens, as if speaking not to the people…

…but to the stars above.

**"Nayab…" he says.

"If only I could have told you…

How much I love you.

If only I could remind you of our childhood…

The memories we shared,

The laughter,

The streets we wandered together.

Do you remember?

We spent more time exploring the city than learning anything.

If only…

You had ever loved me back.

If only you were ever mine.

If only… just once."**

His voice breaks.

"But time…

Time never gave me a chance."

He slowly presses his hand against his wound again.

Blood stains his fingers.

Turning to Abdul Rehman, he whispers:

"Tell Umm-e-Farwah…

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry I couldn't teach you both more…

I'm sorry I couldn't be more…"

He lifts both hands toward the sky.

Eyes closed, he whispers…

"Goodbye."

And then —

With one final breath —

He steps off the cliff.

His body falls.

The wind howls.

"QAAASIMMM!" Fatima screams from behind, her voice piercing the silence.

Abdul Rehman rushes forward, running toward the edge,

But it's too late.

It's already too late.

And Nayab —

Nayab hears everything.

Every word.

Every truth.

Her heart shatters into silence.
