Chapter 1 - Prologue

PROLOGUE

A long time ago, two packs lived in harmony: the Moon Pack and the Blood Pack.

Due to their loyalty to each other, the two alphas of the packs took a blood oath never to spill the blood of an alpha for any cause.

For years, the lands thrived under their unbroken pact. Borders faded, and wolves of both packs hunted beneath the same moon, their howls echoing in harmony across the valleys.

But greed is a hunger that knows no bounds. It sank its claws deep into Alpha Enzo's heart, driving him to shatter the old oath. One blood-soaked night, the Moon Pack struck.

Because the people of the Blood Pack were neither prepared for nor expecting the attack, the Moon Pack won, killing the queen and capturing Alpha Ricardo and his infant sons, along with all those who survived the war.

The Moon Pack took over their lands and properties and made the people of the Blood Pack slaves, while their daughters were forced into sex slaves.

Four years after the war, with Alpha Ricardo still in captivity, he connived with his people, launching a coup and fighting alongside his secretly trained warriors.

They were able to defeat the Moon Pack, along with their Alpha Enzo, whom Alpha Ricardo killed instantly.

He could not resist his grief and pain, having suffered cruel punishment for four years and the loss of his Luna.

He sought Alpha Enzo's daughter, Loretta, who was only five, as tribute for her father's sins, but she was reported missing on the day of the attack.

Rumor has it that she was killed by the king himself, who, upon receiving the news of the attack late, did not want her to suffer pain shortly after he was murdered. However, her body was never found. A few others believed she escaped, but no one knew the truth behind the story.

The young triplets, now five years old, stood beside their father as free wolves once more. However, a curse lingered on their lineage because of the blood oath taken by their fathers.

A few months after the victory, Alpha Ricardo died of a strange illness, leaving the pack under his second-in-command, Beta Louis, who would lead until the triplets came of age to take over.

Everyone believed that his death was a result of the curse, and the triplets, his sons, were not excluded from that curse. But no one knew the hidden truth behind everything.

The triplets vowed to make every member of the Moon Pack—whether young or old, rich or poor, pay for the death of their parents and for the curse they now bore once they took over as alphas on their eighteenth birthday.
