Bruce's Pov

I stood in front of the mirror, tugging at the lapels of my brand-new uniform. Jackie had picked it up for me while I was stuck at home training.

The blazer fit snug across my shoulders, sharper in cut, with a darker shade of blue that gave it a sleek edge. The white shirt beneath wasn't stiff like before—it actually let me breathe—and the tie was slimmer

I tilted my head, running a hand through my hair. "Huh… not bad," I muttered. In the mirror, I didn't see the frail kid I used to be, or even the middle schooler I'd been just a few months ago. I saw someone… sharper. Taller. Stronger.

I struck a mock pose in front of the mirror—hand in my pocket, shoulders relaxed like one of those cool protagonists from the movies I used to watch. Then I laughed at myself, shaking my head. "Don't get carried away, Bruce. First day of high school, not a runway show."

Still, I couldn't deny it—I looked way cooler than before and maybe… just maybe… I'd make an impression walking into that classroom today.

The smell of fried dumplings and tea drifted through the air as I slid into my chair at the breakfast table. Uncle had already set everything out—steaming buns, a pot of tea, and enough food to fuel an army.

Jackie sat across from me, sipping tea with that calm expression of his, though I could tell he was eyeing me like he was waiting to bring something up.

"Mm, good, good," Uncle said, nodding approvingly as he gave me a once-over, like a doctor checking his patient. "Bruce looks stronger. His chi circulation is stable, his mind clear. He is ready—ready to learn new combat style."

I paused mid-bite, looking up at Uncle. "Already?"

Uncle gave a sharp nod, pointing his chopsticks at me like they were weapons. "Aiyah! Strong foundation must not be wasted. Strike iron while it is hot. One More thing! Bruce must begin new discipline before school life distracts him!"

Jackie shook his head, lowering his cup with a sigh. "Uncle, slow down. Bruce has only just mastered Wing Chun. If he jumps into another style so quickly, it'll cause more harm than good. He needs time to stabilize his basics. Wing Chun isn't just about forms and he should polish what he has first."

Uncle clicked his tongue loudly, clearly displeased. "Hmph. Jackie always too cautious! If we wait too long, his chi will grow restless. Better to give it proper outlet!"

I leaned back in my chair, watching the two of them bicker like always.

Honestly, it was better than the food and a smirk tugged at my lips. "Wow, you two fight more about my training than I do. Should I just flip a coin and settle this for you?"

Jackie shot me a look, and Uncle gave me a sharp glare.

I raised both hands in mock surrender, grinning. "Relax, relax. I'll… think about it, okay? If Uncle says I'm ready, and Jackie says I need more time, maybe I'll see which one feels right for me. Deal?"

Uncle huffed but didn't argue, and Jackie let out a small chuckle before returning to his tea.

That was when I decided to push them a little more. I leaned forward, lowering my voice like I was about to reveal a great secret. "Actually… I was thinking. If you two can't decide, maybe I should just teach myself. You know, go for something really practical. Like…" I paused dramatically, "…Drunken style, or maybe Flying Guillotine style. Oh! Or better—some flashy movie martial art I saw once, where the guy spins in circles shouting attack names!"

Jackie nearly choked on his tea. "Bruce!"

Uncle's chopsticks slammed against the table. "Aiya! Foolish boy! Those styles are nonsense—flashy tricks for cinema, not real combat! You will not waste time imitating bad movies!"

I laughed, leaning back with a satisfied smirk. "Heh, worked like a charm. Look at you two—finally agreeing on something for once."

Jackie sighed, rubbing his forehead, while Uncle muttered something about "thick-headed disciple" under his breath.

But me? I felt good. Proud, even. Making both Jackie and Uncle run in circles was almost as satisfying as landing a clean hit in training.

Jackie suddenly reached under the table and pulled out a small box. He slid it across to me with a little grin.

"Here," Jackie said. "Something for you. You'll need it for high school."

I blinked, eyeing the box suspiciously before opening it. Inside was a sleek, basic cellphone—not flashy, but sturdy. Definitely more practical than stylish.

"A phone?" I raised my brows. "Wait… Jackie Chan is giving me my first phone? I feel like this is supposed to come with a big commercial deal or something."

Jackie laughed, shaking his head. "Don't make it sound dramatic. It's just a basic phone—call, text, nothing fancy. But it's enough to keep in touch with your friends, and… with us."

Uncle leaned in, inspecting it like it might explode. "Hmph. Device is useful… but no wasting time with silly games or staring at screen all day!" He wagged his chopsticks at me. "Phone is tool, not toy!"

I smirked, flipping the phone in my hand. "Relax, Uncle. I'll only use it responsibly. You know, like calling friends… or maybe calling the pizza place when you refuse to cook."

"Aiya!" Uncle slammed his chopsticks on the table.

Jackie just laughed again, and I couldn't help but grin too. Honestly, the phone wasn't anything fancy, but the thought behind it made my chest feel warm. It wasn't just a gift. It was Jackie telling me I was growing up, that I was trusted but his next words threw me off.

Jackie leaned back in his chair, arms folded, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Well, it's good you'll be back at school. I bet your friends are waiting. Or maybe…" His eyes narrowed slyly. "…there's a special someone waiting for you?"

I froze mid-bite. "What? No!" I blurted out, nearly dropping my chopsticks. "I don't have anyone like that. Seriously. You're imagining things."

Jackie smirked. "Oh, come on. Some girl has to be wondering where you disappeared to all summer. Don't tell me the great Bruce Chan has zero admirers."

Rolling my eyes, I stabbed another bite of food a little too forcefully. "I don't. Really. And even if I did, I wouldn't know what to do with it."

Jackie chuckled, clearly entertained at my reaction. "So humble. Just don't go around breaking hearts, little cousin."

That's when the perfect comeback struck me.

I leaned back with a smirk of my own. "Speaking of breaking hearts… shouldn't you be the one answering that question, Jackie? You're the one at marriage age, after all. Still single. Doesn't Uncle remind you about it?"

Jackie's grin vanished like a popped balloon. His mouth opened, then closed again. "I—uh—"

Uncle, who had been silently sipping tea, suddenly set his cup down with a sharp clink. "Exactly!" he barked, glaring at Jackie. "Bruce is still a child—romance is distraction! But you, Jackie, you are already at marriage age. You should be settling down! Instead, you waste your time chasing artifacts, fighting Dark Chi Wizards, and coming home with broken bones!"

I nearly choked holding back a laugh, watching Jackie squirm.

Uncle jabbed a finger at him. "When will you bring home a proper wife, Jackie?!"

Jackie scratched the back of his head, laughing nervously. "Eh—Uncle, not this again…"

"Don't 'not this again' me!" Uncle snapped. "At this rate, Bruce will marry before you do!"

I leaned in, grinning ear to ear. "Yeah, Jackie. Maybe I'll find someone before you, and you'll have to call me the responsible one."

Jackie groaned, threw his hands up in surrender, and stood. "Alright, alright—I'll wash the dishes!" He grabbed the plates and retreated to the sink like a soldier fleeing the battlefield.

Uncle huffed, folding his arms. "Hmph. At least he knows when to run."

I couldn't help it—I sat back, smug and satisfied, a little glow of pride warming my chest. For once, I'd managed to turn the tables and make Jackie retreat.

"Score one for me," I muttered under my breath, hiding my grin behind a sip of tea.

On the lighter side, sitcom icons such as Charlie Harper, Sheldon Cooper, Barney Stinson, and Harvey Specter play their roles in this strange but vivid reality.

Into this intricate world awakens Liam Harper, the younger brother of Charlie and Alan Harper, son of the sharp-witted Evelyn Harper. Unlike the others, Liam carries a secret—he has been transmigrated from another Earth, equipped with a mysterious AI assistant and a unique system granting access to powerful potions.

But Liam's existence is no accident. The God of Entertainment, a capricious deity who thrives on drama, conflict, and spectacle, has placed him here for one purpose: to entertain.

Every relationship Liam forges, every enemy he faces, and every decision he makes is part of a grand performance meant to captivate the god's gaze.

Balancing his career in law with the dangers of enhancement, Liam must navigate a high-stakes landscape of cutthroat corporations, political intrigue, and ruthless villains.

From courtroom battles to boardroom wars, from sitcom hilarity to criminal underworlds, Liam's journey will demand every ounce of wit, courage, and strategy he possesses.

In this world, survival isn't about capes or powers—it's about money, influence, and the razor's edge of human enhancement. And as the God of Entertainment watches, the question remains: will Liam rise as a player in this multiverse of legends, or become just another forgotten act in the show?
