"Almost time! Just a few more seconds until school's out! I'm so glad. I can finally tell them the secret. Whether they join or not is up to them; I can't force them. If I did, and something happened to them, I'd feel terrible!" Hiroshi whispered excitedly, his eyes glued to the clock at the front of the classroom as the end of class approached. He then turned his gaze towards Rai, who sat at the back of the room.
"Alright, class, that's all for today. Pack up your things and get ready to go home!" The teacher announced, checking the time on her watch.
Once the teacher left the classroom, Hiroshi slowly stood up and loudly called out to Rai, "Rai, have your sister meet us at the school gates. I need to talk to both of you."
Upon hearing Hiroshi's call, Rai turned around, gave him a smiling nod, gathered his belongings, and left the classroom to go find his sister.
After watching Rai leave, Hiroshi turned to Harumiko with a smile. "Alright, let's pack up and head to the school gates. I'll tell the three of you what the prize is!"
Harumiko smiled and nodded, happily gathering her things and leaving the classroom with Hiroshi.
"I don't know what it is, but I feel great! You're about to tell me the prize! I'm so excited!" Harumiko said with a beaming smile as she walked beside Hiroshi.
Hiroshi smiled and nodded. "Don't worry, it'll be a huge surprise. Even I was shocked when Uncle Minato told me what it was!"
Harumiko nodded, thinking to herself, If it surprised Hiroshi, I need to be prepared for anything!
Soon, Hiroshi and Harumiko met up with Rai and his sister.
"Hiroshi, Harumiko! You finally made it! We've been waiting for a while!" Rai greeted them cheerfully.
"Sorry, we took a little longer packing up," Hiroshi said, scratching his head sheepishly.
"Alright, let's get down to business. I'm here to tell you about the reward for winning first place in the competition," Hiroshi said, his smile subsiding.
Harumiko, Rai, and his sister immediately perked up, their attention fully focused on Hiroshi.
"The prize is joining the ANBU, and we get to graduate early!" Hiroshi whispered, looking at the three of them.
Upon hearing Hiroshi's announcement, Harumiko, Rai, and his sister's eyes widened in astonishment; they were completely taken aback by the unexpected news.
