"This is infuriating! I can only save one of them with my current strength," Hiroshi muttered, frowning at the ground.
"Regardless, there's nothing I can do now except try my hardest to save them. Even though the analysis said I can only save one, with relentless effort, I can definitely save them both," Hiroshi declared with a renewed smile.
Hiroshi, despite having the system and a significant advantage, was well aware of the Nine-Tails' overwhelming power.
"Forget it, I'll take things one step at a time. I can't predict the future anyway. All I can do is hope I can make a difference," Hiroshi stood up, a determined smile on his face.
"I'm so tired. It's late. Time to sleep," Hiroshi rose and headed to his bedroom.
"Hoping for a wonderful day tomorrow, and that tomorrow will be just as lucky as today. Goodnight," Hiroshi whispered before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.
Although it was summer, the night air was surprisingly cool, a refreshing temperature perfect for sleep.
The next morning, Hiroshi awoke early. It was Monday, the first day back to school.
"Ah, that was a comfortable sleep. The temperature was just right last night," Hiroshi commented, smiling at the sunlight streaming through his window.
"Time to get ready for school," he said, getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom to freshen up.
After preparing himself, Hiroshi grabbed his ninja tool pouch and left his house.
"I wonder what good fortune awaits me today… but I feel a sense of unease, like something big is about to happen," Hiroshi muttered under his breath, a frown creasing his brow as he walked down the street.
"The Nine-Tails' attack on Konoha is drawing ever closer. My greatest fear is about to become reality," Hiroshi worried aloud.
The morning in Konoha was as serene and quiet as ever; the morning and evening temperatures were pleasantly mild, creating a sense of tranquility.
Hiroshi arrived at the school gates, pausing to gaze at the imposing school building before him.
"Someday, I'll look back on this place with fondness. There are so many memories here, both good and bad," Hiroshi reflected, staring at the school building.
Shaking his head, Hiroshi smiled and entered the school building.
"Whatever. There are some things I can't change, but my destiny is my own to shape," Hiroshi thought to himself with a determined smile as he made his way to his classroom.
Soon, Hiroshi reached his classroom, already finding it populated with several students. "Wow, people are here early. Looks like I won't be the first one in class today," he murmured.
Hiroshi settled into his seat, noticing that Harumiko was not yet present.
