"Harumiko, what do you think of this stone?" Harumiko asked Hiroshi, holding up a stone. She asked for his opinion.
Hiroshi smiled. "Yeah, it's good. But can you actually skip it?" He questioned her skill.
Harumiko nodded confidently. "No problem! I watched you; I've got it down!" She expressed confidence.
Hiroshi chuckled. "Alright, let's see what this little genius can do!" He challenged her. He challenged her to try.
Harumiko nodded, went to the river, examined the stone, bent down, and looked at the water. She prepared to throw the stone.
"Piu, piu"
Harumiko threw the stone perfectly, skipping it twice across the water. She skipped the stone twice.
"Wow! She got two skips on her first try! That's amazing!" Hiroshi said with a smile, watching the ripples. He was impressed.
Harumiko stood up and went to Hiroshi, smiling. "See? I told you it wasn't that hard! I got two skips on my first try! Am I awesome?" she asked proudly. She boasted about her success.
Hiroshi nodded. "You're really smart!" He complimented her. He complimented her.
"I know, right? I got two skips on my first try! I'm unstoppable now!" Harumiko said happily. She was very happy.
Harumiko ran off to find more stones. She went to find more stones.
"She's so energetic! Skipping stones is usually a boy thing, but Harumiko loves it too!" Hiroshi thought, watching her pick stones. He was surprised by her enthusiasm.
Hiroshi sat down. He sat down.
"This is so peaceful. It's been a long time since I've relaxed like this! Watching Harumiko in the sunshine...it's so nice," Hiroshi said with a smile. He enjoyed the moment. He enjoyed the peaceful moment.
After selecting a few stones, Harumiko stood up and looked at Hiroshi. She looked at Hiroshi.
"I can't believe I got two skips on my first try! It's incredible! It completely changed my idea of stones!" Harumiko thought, watching Hiroshi rest. She was still amazed. She was still amazed by her success.
