"I feel a little uncomfortable, probably because I'm eating hot pot all alone. It's so lonely," Hiroshi thought, watching the bubbling broth in the pot. He reflected on his feelings of loneliness.
"If only someone were here to eat with me, that would be great. But no one's likely to come. Everyone else is probably home with their families," he mused.
"And it's Saturday and Sunday tomorrow; no school. They're probably all relaxing at home," Hiroshi murmured, smiling as he added vegetables to the pot. He added vegetables to the pot and reflected on others' plans.
Everyone wishes they had many friends to avoid loneliness, but life isn't always that way. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have many friends.

"God, if you could send a guest over for dinner right now, that would be amazing! Eating hot pot alone is so lonely.
I have nothing to do but sit here and eat," Hiroshi thought, watching the vegetables and meat simmer in the pot. He wished for company.
Perhaps God took pity on Hiroshi, because he soon received a visitor.
"Hiroshi, Hiroshi, are you home?"
Hiroshi heard someone call his name outside and happily shouted, "Yes, yes! Wait a minute, I'll open the door!" He responded to the call.
Hiroshi rushed from the house to the courtyard and opened the gate to find Harumiko. He opened the gate to find Harumiko standing there.
"Harumiko, what are you doing here?" Hiroshi was overjoyed; he hadn't expected Harumiko to visit. He expressed his surprise at her visit.
Hiroshi ushered Harumiko into the courtyard. Harumiko smiled. "Actually, I came to eat with you. I'm alone at home, and I didn't want to cook. Eating out alone is awkward, so I thought I'd come here!" She explained her reason for visiting.
"Oh, I was just thinking how boring it was eating alone! And then you came! This is perfect! Come in," Hiroshi said happily. He expressed his delight at the unexpected visit. He was delighted that his wish had been fulfilled.
Harumiko nodded with a smile and followed Hiroshi into the house. She happily accepted his invitation.
"I just bought some hot pot ingredients and it's ready. Let's eat!" Hiroshi grabbed chopsticks and placed them across the table from Harumiko, smiling. He offered her chopsticks and invited her to eat.
Harumiko nodded with a smile, picked up her chopsticks, and sat down. She happily accepted his invitation to eat.
