Between which, he finds the Treasure Hunting Instinct to be the most useful, because, the time he was travelling to was the time where treasures wander unclaimed and there was a fierce racial competition between all races for resources and survival—at least that's what he thought and learned from 'Ancient Scriptures'. And the best thing about this talent was that he can switch between Passive and Active form of the talent anytime.
Which he thinks is the best, because the constant alarm can be annoying at some times.
Although he can miss some opportunities because of it but peace of mind is what matters him the most.
At the moment, just as Lin Chen finished making the choices, a voice sounded in his mind.

[4 Quadrillion Years ago, you opened your eyes, only to find yourself in a place which was nothing but Void.]
[But between this Void was placed a spark—which seemed the only source of hope in existence—in front of you not far away. Its size as that of a seed. And it was not the only spark but there are countless of them but they are so far away that you can't even perceive—except a small number of them—despite the Void being so clean that you should've had perceived anything.]
[Maybe they are so far away that even their lights couldn't reach you even if its been a long time since the day of their creation.]
[Though, at the moment, you could perceive many sparks that may contain seeds within themselves—just as the one in front of you. But the shape of seed in front of you was different from every other—which you obviously can't determine as you can't reach and check the shape of every other seeds contained in those sparks as they were so far away that you should give up even on the thought of you ever reaching them with your current cultivation.]
[The shape of the seed in front of you is Ω. Which represents 'Absolute Infinity'.]
Outside Simulation,
Lin Chen, looking at the system explain the simulated results in such a grave detailed, asked the system, "System, you would explain that, right? Or, do I need to dive and research it myself?"
At Lin Chen's question, the system gave a reassuring reply:- [Host, have faith, this system won't dump you with information and leave it unexplained.]
After getting a reassuring reply from the system, Lin Chen continued the simulation.
Within Simulation,
[At the moment, just as you tried to reach the spark in order to tame it—which you should definitely try as this was nothing but simulation, you find that you aren't in your physical form and the one witnessing it all along was your consciousness.]
[Just as you were lamenting on what the purpose of system in doing all this was, something strange happened.]
[The seed shining as that of an star cracked and exploded in countless pieces. As it exploded, a shocking thing happened.]
[It began to form stars above the crack or you can say, in the sky.]
[By each passing moment, many and many stars—in addition to many other celestial bodies —began to form in the sky. Its speed of forming and expanding increases by every passing second. Showing no sign of slowing down.]
[As you were witnessing the Creation of Stars and them forming clusters to create a Galaxy and were waiting for it slow down, another shocking thing happened.]
[From the bottom part of the spark, Land and Water began to form, crafting many landscape, such as Mountain, Rivers, Woodland, Desert, Coastal and many others.]
[As the Land and Water were forming and expanding by every passing moments, trees began to sprout at a speed you've never ever seen before. Which was followed by the Creation of the Cycle of Day and Night.]
[At the moment, many natural wonders also began to take shape along with the Creation of Land, Water, Sky and Vegetation.]
[Now, you understood the reason why System landed you as a consciousness and not in physical form. Because, just the sheer amount of World turning upside-down to create something out of nothing is not something your physical body could withstand. It might have already ended your simulation before it even started.]
[You determined that it must be the safety mechanism triggered by the system. And so you named it, the Safety Mechanism.]

[At the moment, as you witnessed all this events happening one by one.]
[Suddenly, less than the time it takes for blinking, an another event began. Within the sky, many and many birds—of different species, some looked aggressive while some calm—appeared out of nowhere, the sky was full of them but it was not the end.]
[Because, along with the Creation of birds, you witnessed the creation of Mythical Creatures. Such as, Dragons, Phoenixes, Black Tortoise, Zerg, Suzaku, Qilin, and many more—all of their eyes closed, as if in deep sleep.]
[Which was followed by the Creation of Land and Water animals.]
[At the end of all this, you witnessed a long river of Time appearing out of nowhere, its so huge that you can't even perceive its starting point and nor the ending.]
[As the moment, as it appeared, it crafted a branch of time for this newly created universe and spread its branches towards it, which made time flow in your Universe and along with it, every creature became active, while those Mythical Creatures still remained in a deep sleep.]
[At the end, as you witnessed all this, you fell in an Enlightenment and became unconscious.]
[You didn't notice that that spark with the symbol Ω has long since merged with the world and disappeared.]

[After who knows how much time has passed, you slowly but surely opened your eyes, finding yourself in an unfamiliar surroundings.]
[Your current surroundings, completely different from the previous Void Space, are filled with nothing but greenery and trees. The place in which you've woken up is a Forest surrounded by thick but tall trees—blocking the sun rays.]
[This Place doesn't feel much different than a horror show set up. But the thing is, you don't feel any fear of your surroundings and are just wary of some unseen circumstances.]
[At the moment, just as you were guarding upon unforseen circumstances, the smell of treasure hit your nose but you didn't move. Because, in addition to the treasures direction, you also felt an Ominous Premonition rise in your heart and it seemed to come from that same direction—the threat perception of Treasure Hunting Instinct has truly came into play.]
[Soon, without a second thought, you decided to give up on the treasure and decided to find yourself a shelter first.]
[Soon, not far from the place you've woken up, you find yourself a shelter.]
