Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Code Within the Blood

"Not every glitch is a mistake.""Some are warnings hidden in the bloodstream."

🌌 Scene 1: Echoes After Merging

The night was still.

Aaryan stood on the edge of a rooftop, gazing at the glitching city beneath him. Delhi no longer looked like the place he grew up in. Lines of invisible code drifted like smoke through the air, only visible to him now — after the merge.

His chest still pulsed faintly. Not with pain… but with confusion.

Who was he now?

He remembered everything.Version 1.0's mission.Version 2.0's memories.And now… he wasn't either.

He was something new. Something the system hadn't accounted for.

But something inside him was cracking.

"Error: Code sync unstable."

A pain surged down his arm — like fire traveling through his veins. He dropped to one knee.

From under his skin, light blue lines glowed faintly — like a circuit burning through flesh.

And in his head — a whisper:

"Phase 3 will erase you… unless you rewrite first."

🛰️ Scene 2: The Signal Keepers

In an underground facility miles away, giant silver screens blinked with a new alert:

[Carrier AARYAN — STATUS: Unquantified][Initiate Emergency Protocol Sigma-9][Deploy: Signal Keepers]

Three figures stepped out of the shadows.

Dressed in deep maroon cloaks, each wore a smooth chrome mask etched with waveform patterns. They didn't speak. They didn't breathe.

Each carried a Signal Blade — weapons made from code frequencies. Deadly against glitch-borns.

Behind them, a voice echoed in the hall:

"The merged one has surfaced. He will corrupt the Code Structure if left unchecked."

"Track him. Break his sync. Burn the memory stream."

🧬 Scene 3: Nyra's Hidden Message

Aaryan returned to the same signal tower where Nyra had vanished.

The place was silent now. Dead.

But then, something buzzed in his mark. A message?

He reached under the panel where they had last fought Protocols.

A disk. Embedded. Hidden.

As he touched it, the air shimmered — and a projection of Nyra appeared.

She looked… scared.

"If you're seeing this, it means I failed.""Aaryan, you're not alone… but you're not what they told you, either.""The glitch inside you — it's not a system error. It's inherited."

Aaryan's eyes widened.

"It runs in your bloodline.""Your father was one of the creators of the invisible code project.""And he embedded a backdoor — in your DNA."

The hologram flickered.

"They're coming for you, Aaryan. The Signal Keepers. And they won't just kill you…""They'll overwrite you."

⚡ Scene 4: The Ambush

He didn't have time to process it.

A high-pitched ringing filled the air. Not natural — a signal pulse.

Then — BANG!

A shockwave blasted the rooftop apart as three figures dropped from the sky, cloaks flapping like wings.

Signal Keepers.

They moved like ghosts — silent, no wasted motion.

One swung his blade — Aaryan dodged just in time. The edge sliced through a water tank like butter.

Another Keeper raised his hand — frequency burst!

Aaryan's body twitched violently — code trying to collapse.

"He's syncing. Disrupt the bloodcode before it locks!"

Aaryan screamed, his arm glowing uncontrollably. The glitch flared — parts of him went invisible, others burned blue.

He leapt back, summoned his focus, and unleashed the Mirror Pulse — the move he had copied from Version 1.0.

BOOM!

The energy blasted outward, slamming two Keepers against the wall — their masks cracking slightly.

But the third — the leader — stood unaffected.

"You're not ready. Your blood is awake… but it's still chaotic."

He lunged forward.

And Aaryan — felt something snap inside.

His vision changed.

Now he didn't just see glitches — he saw blood frequencies. Flowing patterns in the air. Invisible threads connecting people, memories, even thoughts.

He moved.

Not by stepping — but by phasing through the signal.

And reappeared behind the leader, fist charged with pure glitch-light.

CRACK!

He landed the hit.

The leader staggered. His chrome mask fell.

Aaryan froze.

The face beneath…

Was familiar.

His father.

🌫️ Scene 5: The Real Shock

The man bled blue.

He looked at Aaryan with calm, sorrowful eyes.

"I didn't die, Aaryan.""I was re-coded. I became the Signal.""To protect you. From what you're becoming."

Aaryan's mind spiraled.

"Why didn't you tell me? Why did you attack me?!"

"Because the truth is worse than you think.""You're not the only one who was rewritten…"

He turned his head.

And from the shadows behind him stepped forward… Nyra.

Alive.

But her eyes… glowed red.

"Hello again, Aaryan," she whispered."I found the truth. And I chose their side."
