Chapter 2 - OVERPOWERED I AM

Shiro's thoughts swirled as he looked around. "Where am I?" he wondered. He was certain he was in a car just moments before, and then... everything went black. Wait, did he die? If he did die, why was he here? This place looked familiar, like his hometown, but a little older.

"But what's going on?" Shiro thought, his mind racing with questions. "And what's this 'Origin System'?" He decided to ask the system directly.

"System, where am I? What's going on?" Shiro asked aloud.

For a moment, there was silence. Then, a chilly, feminine voice spoke.

"Hello, host. This is the Origin System, made to help you resolve this crisis. You died."

Shiro was taken aback, but he composed himself quickly.

"Elaborate," he said firmly.

The system's response was blunt.

"This is what you would call a reincarnation, but instead of reincarnating into a different body, it's more like your body was... bodified and brought into this world. Your purpose is to eliminate all the servants and their masters participating in this Holy Grail War."

Shiro's eyes widened as he processed the information. "Servants? Holy Grail War?" He remembered watching anime when he was younger, including the Fate series. This had to be related.

"Where exactly am I?" Shiro asked, hoping to learn more about his situation.

"You are currently in the world of Fate, before the 4th Holy Grail War, which is supposed to take place in exactly 2 weeks, 4 days, 13 hours, and 27 minutes."

Shiro's face fell. This was troublesome.

"What am I supposed to do?" he asked.

"My job is to make you a master capable of killing all the servants and their masters. In return, you'll be granted a wish. That's all. I won't elaborate further."

Shiro's frustration grew. "First, how am I supposed to do that? I'm just a regular human. Second, why won't you elaborate?"

The system's response was unexpected.

"Please open 1x Super Gift Pack."

"A gift pack?" Shiro thought. "Alright, let's see."

Shiro's eyes widened as he read the contents.

Shiro's jaw dropped. "What... I'm frickin' overpowered!

Shiro's eyes gleamed with excitement as he gazed at the two A-rank cards in his possession. He knew exactly what he wanted to do with them.

"System, I want to use these cards to increase my stats," Shiro said, his voice filled with determination.

The system's response was curt. "Affirmative. Use the cards to boost your Strength, Speed, Endurance, Mana, or IQ."

Shiro thought for a moment before making his decision. "I'll use one card to increase my Strength to A-rank, and the other to increase my Speed to A-rank."

The system didn't respond, but the cards began to glow. *Card Activation: A-rank "Strength Enhancement"* and *Card Activation: A-rank "Speed Enhancement"*

A surge of energy coursed through Shiro's body, and he felt his muscles grow stronger and his movements become faster. His stats updated in real-time, reflecting the changes.

Shiro felt a rush of power and confidence. With his newfound strength and speed, he knew he could take on even the toughest challenges.

But despite the boost in power, Shiro's mind was still clouded with worry. The Holy Grail War was a daunting prospect, and he wasn't sure if he was ready.

"System, I'm still not sure if I can do this," Shiro said, his voice laced with doubt. "The Holy Grail War sounds like a nightmare. What if I fail?"

The system's response was cold and detached. "You will succeed or fail based on your own abilities. I am merely a tool to assist you. Your outcome is not my concern."

Shiro's eyes narrowed, but he knew the system was just doing its job. He took a deep breath and nodded, trying to steel himself for the challenges ahead.

"Let's do this," Shiro said, his voice filled with determination. "I'll show you what I'm capable*

Shiro's face lit up with a wide grin as he thought about testing his new abilities. "Alright, let's see what I'm working with!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

He focused his thoughts and willed the Inverted Spear of Heaven and Earth to appear in his hand. The air seemed to shimmer, and the spear materialized, its presence both exhilarating and intimidating.

"Whoa, nice!" Shiro said, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "This thing's got some serious aura to it!"

He twirled the spear, feeling its balance and weight. The spear felt like an extension of his body, and he couldn't wait to put it to the test.

"Time to see what I can do with this baby!" Shiro said, charging towards a nearby tree. With a swift motion, he thrust the spear forward, unleashing a burst of speed and strength.

The spear pierced the tree trunk with ease, sending splintered wood flying everywhere. Shiro let out a triumphant whoop, grinning from ear to ear.

"Yes! That's the stuff!" he exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air. "Now, let's see how fast I can move!"

Shiro took off, sprinting across the landscape with incredible speed. The wind rushed past him, and the scenery blurred together. He felt alive, free, and unstoppable.

"Whooo-hooo!" Shiro shouted, laughing with sheer joy. "I'm freakin' fast!"

He stopped suddenly, and his grin faltered for a moment as he thought about the Holy Grail War. "You know, system, I know I'm not just fighting for fun here. There's a lot at stake."

The system's response was as cold as ever. "Your objective is to eliminate all servants and their masters. You will be granted a wish if you succeed."

Shiro nodded, his expression turning serious for a moment. "Got it. I'll do what it takes to win."

He sheathed the spear and stood still, taking a deep breath. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he said, "Time to test my strength!"

Shiro picked up a nearby boulder and lifted it with ease, his A-rank strength making it look like a toy. He grinned, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment.

"Yeah, I'm loving this!" he exclaimed, tossing the boulder aside. "I'm ready to take on whatever the Holy Grail War throws at me!"

With a spring in his step, Shiro continued to test his abilities, eager to see what else he was capable of. The smile on his face never wavered, but his eyes gleamed with a calculating intensity, hinting at a deeper strategy beneath his carefree exterior.
