— …Black eyes…
I said it harder than I had expected, and my grip on the sword involuntarily strengthened.
Bang.
But, unable to hold back any longer, I struck him. In the chest, so hard that I definitely heard a crack, and he flew into the wall, breaking through it. Walking through the debris, I headed towards him.
Kh. Kh. Kh.
Seeing how he tried to get up, I instantly pinned him to the ground. But he did not give up so easily, trying and trying to get up, which forced me to apply even more strength.
— Ah… you…
Sitting on his back, I felt how every part of his back was tense. But there was nothing strange in that, so I did not focus much attention on it.
I had many questions I wanted to ask:
Why did he have black eyes?
How did he raise his stats so fast?
Was he a pervert?
And most importantly, why did he always lie to me?
This question especially angered and irritated me the most.
But I decided to calm down, not to act on emotions. Gathering all my thoughts together, I exhaled and spoke.
— Too… you've changed too much since our last meeting, Kopii… too much.
Saying this, I felt how his body tensed even more. One might think, how much more, but it turned out, it was possible. His body itself gave me the answer, so I did not wait for him to speak, and continued.
— … And especially the rumors… Is it true?
I asked the question that had interested me these last days.
— Of course not! It's all — lies!
— Really?
— Yes!
— You want to say that all these rumors are fake?
— Of course they're fake!
…
…
I wanted to believe his words, to believe that it was just rumors and nothing more. But, remembering his every lie, every time he tried to hide the truth or avoid a topic inconvenient for him, I could not believe him. He lied to me too much.
I leaned to his ear and whispered:
— Rumors don't just appear, Kopii; we both know that.
Not giving him a chance to answer, I immediately continued:
— You're deceiving me. You've always deceived me… Kopii.
— No…
But, not letting him finish, I knocked him out with one blow. I kept sitting on his back, feeling that his muscles were still tense.
«Is his mind preoccupied?» — I thought, not understanding how this could happen. A person who had received a Falna could no longer call himself human. And with every level, he was further and further from his former self, but closer and closer to becoming a god.
So he had to overwork himself far, far too much for his muscles to forget, but even in such a state, he wanted to head to training? Remembering his words before the start of the battle.
Or had he lied to me again? At this thought, my already depressed mood fell below the floor.
Had he ever told me the truth? For the first time, I asked myself this question. After all, our relationship had begun with a lie. Now he was lying to my face to the very end. Had all our relations been built on lies?
I thought, continuing to draw patterns on his back. Thinking about what to do with such a liar and pervert.
Taking him in my arms, I carried him to his house and laid him in bed. Pulling up a chair, I sat by the bed in deep thought about what to do with him.
Maybe, I should… No, that definitely won't work.
Maybe I was wrong after all? Because I did not even give him a word to justify himself.
Maybe he had not lied to me from the very beginning?
I should have held myself back and given him at least a word to justify himself.
Maybe everything was completely different.
The more I thought about it, the more I blamed myself. I could have just talked, but I was again under the control of my emotions. Again.
However many times I told myself: "I must hold back," — I always step on the same rake.
But his black eyes became the last straw, and then I lost all control over myself. His eyes were the same as his.
Ais was tormented by barely restrained anger, which she tried with all her might to suppress, and the raging emotions, which were just waiting for a chance to break free. But with time, her hatred and anger only intensified; she just needed to stop thinking about it.
But that was easy only in words. She could not simply push it out of her head. Every thought of hers was only about those black eyes. Unable to bear it any longer, she left Kopii's house and headed to the dungeon — she needed to let it all out.
And the dungeon was the only place where she could fully distract herself from her thoughts.
Some time later.
Ais spent several hours crushing monsters to pieces and returned to Kopii — he was still unconscious.
Ais stared at the unconscious Kopii; only one question crept into her head.
«Did I hit him too hard?» — Ais thought, looking at how Kopii peacefully slept, starting to worry a little. She came closer and reached out to his face, running her hand through his black locks and going lower, until she stopped at his eyes.
And, without thinking long, she opened his eyes. And she saw his usual eyes — in this eye, there was not a hint of the darkness she remembered. Opening his other eye, it was the same as the right one.
«His eyes were normal?» — a thought flashed through Ais's head. Her hand went lower to his chest; she felt a rather fast heartbeat. She drew patterns on his chest, understanding that his muscles had relaxed.
Realizing what she was doing, she pulled her hand away as if scalded, and a barely visible blush appeared on her pale cheeks. She pulled a chair closer and sat a little away from Kopii, casting glances at his body and sleeping face.
She was deciding: to do it or not. To do what she might regret in the future and, perhaps, greatly spoil her relationship with Kopii. But, of course, if he found out. Because right now, no one was stopping her — she just needed to turn Kopii onto his stomach and undress him, and look at his stats.
Of course, she poorly understood the language, but the most basic, she could understand.
«No, that's wrong.» — Ais thought. So she decided not to do it; she perfectly understood that she could learn the secret of his rapid growth, because with high probability, it was because of the skill.
«Yes? No?» – Ais thought, not knowing what to do.
But not much time passed before she made her choice. She would look with just one eye — no one would know. Beginning to slowly approach the unconscious body.
And, starting to take off his upper clothing, her hands trembled, but she kept doing it; every time, her hands touched Kopii's bare body, which made her think about strange things she could do when he was fully in her power. Slowly turning Kopii onto his stomach, she stared at his back — and luck was on her side, because the Falna was not hidden.
She began examining Kopii's Falna, reading every word. Of course, she did not understand most of it, but even so, she could guess what it meant.

She was not interested in his stats; she immediately lowered her gaze lower, in search of where his skills should roughly be, and she immediately came across what she had expected.
Her eyes squinted, trying to read the name of his skill. Of course, it took her several minutes to translate one word, but she could do it with confidence.
— Copying.
Ais whispered, unconsciously running her finger over his back.
