Chapter 62 - Sword Princess.

Exiting the abandoned structure, Kopii didn't need much time to figure out where he was. After all, he had been living in this area for a month.

Why did she bring me here and leave?

He glanced around, searching for Ais.

"Such a chance wasted."

Kane said disappointedly. But Kopii ignored him and headed towards home.

"Do you think she's planning something?"

"How should I know?"

Maybe she didn't expect to get so worked up so easily, he whispered, noticing golden hair out of the corner of his eye. Without hesitating, he ran. He knew his chances of escaping were slim, but, maybe, luck will be on my side, Kopii hoped.

He looked hopefully at the sky, but he knew luck was almost always against him.

"Hey, wake up, you've already been caught."

"I know," Kopii whispered, feeling the Sword Princess removing his hand. Looking at him with a strange expression.

"What are you staring at? It's just thinking out loud."

He said, frustrated that he was back in her hands.

"Kopii, this is your second chance, act! Let's go for that offer of yours - sex for information! Come on, don't hesitate, let's win this situation. Come oooon!"

Ignoring Kane, he looked intently at Ais, who was leading him back into that structure.

"Why are we going back there? It's getting dark, I don't want to spend the night there."

Stopping, she glanced back at him. He felt awkward under her gaze.

"I mean, maybe we can go to my place? It's not far."

Kopii knew this might be a bad decision, well, he wanted to end this situation as quickly as possible. But after his words, she just kept silently looking at him, holding some kind of package in her right hand. But the longer her silence continued, the more he thought she would refuse.

"Okay."

She replied, standing, waiting for Kopii to walk.

"Well, I won't waste time."

Turning his back to her and starting the path to what was now his home. On the way, he only hoped that the situation wouldn't worsen.

"That's right, Kopii! You started acting, I thought you were ignoring me again, but you had your own plan. How could I not guess right away? You turn out to be not as pathetic as I thought."

Kane spoke with joy, which irritated Kopii. He couldn't answer him while the Sword Princess was nearby. He felt her burning a hole in his back with her stare.

"Here we are."

Starting to descend into the basement, and she followed him. Sitting on the bed, she sat to his left. They just stared into space, nobody spoke, and only the sounds of her eating could be heard.

"Well, are you just going to sit there?"

Turning to her and looking at what she was eating.

"Yes, until you tell me."

"I've already told you everything."

Finally turning her attention to him with a sea in her eyes, Kopii realized that she didn't believe him at all. Which saddened Kopii, but he didn't show it. He no longer knew how to solve this problem.

Maybe just try a different approach, Kopii thought, considering what else to say.

"C'mooon, Kopii, why are you just sitting there? Are you serious, you invited her here for this? Seriously? I take back those words, you've fallen in my eyes again to the level of nothingness."

No matter how Kopii thought, Kane bothered him every second.

Looking at the impassive face of the Sword Princess, she just kept eating. The more he looked at her, the more he wanted to eat.

I haven't eaten anything today, Kopii thought, watching the Sword Princess eat more and more. How can she fit so much in? he wondered.

"Can I try some?"

Unable to withstand how deliciously she was eating, he said with hope in his voice. But she, continuing to look at him, didn't stop for a second.

Ignored, Kopii thought, saddened by this fact, but in that same second she placed the package between him and her, so that he could also eat, or not, he didn't understand.

"Can I eat?"

"Yes."

And now there were only two sounds in the room: the sounds of chewing. Kopii didn't know what to say. It turns out Kane was right, his communication skills with the opposite sex were too bad.

"You will sit here until I say so."

"Yes."

"And why do you think I am lying? Just because you don't remember that day?"

"I remember everything."

"No, you don't remember everything. I wasn't alone back then."

"Alone."

She interrupted, stuffing another piece into her mouth. With an empty gaze, looking at this picture, he felt that this was only the beginning of his problems. Ah, you bastard Raven! Blaming his deceased friend for the whole situation. Unconsciously reaching for a piece, he felt only emptiness.

"…eaten it."

Looking with disappointment at the empty package, he didn't know what it was, but it was delicious and free. But even so, he was grateful to her, if only for that.

"Yes."

"Maybe it's time for you to go home? It's getting dark."

"Noooo, Kopii, what about the night of full passion? Think carefully, you have to keep her by all means, not the other way around! Don't fall even lower in my eyes."

"I…"

"It's okay, you don't have to worry that I'll run away. This is my second home after all, and you know where the first one is. I have nowhere to go, so you can go home."

Before she could say anything, Kopii interrupted her, saying it in the most confident voice he could muster. This, of course, was a lie, he could still stay at the orphanage, he was one hundred percent sure they would be happy to see him.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Okay."

Getting up and heading towards the exit, but she turned around and said as a last word:

"Don't run away."

"Thank you for the food, Sword Princess!"

He shouted after her, happy to be alone with his thoughts. Or did he think so?

"You have fallen in my eyes, Kopii. With each passing day, I doubt more and more that we can be one. We have almost everything the same, but why am I so perfect, and you are so… I can't even describe you. For someone like you, even 'pathetic' sounds like praise."

"That's enough, you've been thinking about this all day."

"Because I don't hide from myself what I really want."

"Do you think she'll come tomorrow? I think she's calmed down. She probably believed me… I hope so."

"Who needs you anyway?"

"Who am I asking? It's my own fault," Kopii thought, sighing and heading towards the bed.

"Well, we'll find out tomorrow."

The next morning, Kopii got up and wrote a letter that he would go to the dungeons. He didn't want the Sword Princess here, because he was completely in her hands. If she wants to kill me, no one will stop her, they won't even find out about it, so it's better not to make her angry.

"Do you think she's waiting?"

"Who needs you anyway?"

"No, I'm seriously asking."

"Well, how should I know?"

"Well, come on, I found someone to ask, it's my own fault," Kopii thought, entering the Hostess of Fertility, effort free seat, he smiled at his luck.

"Hello, Kopii."

Sir greeted him with a sweet smile. The more he looked at Sir's beautiful face, the more fascinated he was by her.

"Don't trust her."

Remembering Raven's words about her, he couldn't disagree with him. After all, he always felt something strange about her.

"Hey, Kopii, are you here?"

Waving her hand in front of him.

"Yes, sorry, I was just thinking… noodles."

"Just noodles, nothing more?"

"Yes, only noodles."

"Okay."

"Hey, wait."

Kopii almost forgot his purpose for being there. He wanted to confirm that he wasn't alone at that time, to prove that he was right and the Sword Princess wasn't.

"Do you remember when I was here last time?"

"Ah, yes, of course."

From her answer, Kopii felt satisfaction, smiling slightly at the fact that his misunderstanding with the Sword Princess would soon be resolved.

"Then you remember that I wasn't alone then. Well, Raven and I."

"…if I remember correctly, then you were alone."

"…what, you don't remember Raven?"

"Raven? Is that your friend, Kopii?"

"What?"

"Hey, where are you, Sir!?"

"Coming."

She didn't notice Kopii's surprised face, who watched her with a look full of incomprehension.
