Jax gasped, his eyelids trembling behind the lenses of his glasses, which reflected the blue light of the monitor. "B?" Jax repeated in a tone of disbelief, his voice rising an octave. "Isn't that standard still categorized as a very good grade for a child? Why would they do something so cruel just over a single letter?"
Daniel shook his head slowly, his jaw tightening as he suppressed the emotions resurfacing from the depths of his memory. He himself never truly knew what happened behind the closed doors of the foundation's headquarters. "I don't know the exact motive, Jax.
