"Dalton," Meera called his name again desperately, wanted him to come back for her. "Is it about your childhood?"
There was a flicker in his eyes, as he growled viciously when she brought up his childhood, he immediately stood up and pushed her hands away from his face, as if he was being electrocuted.
He opened his mouth, but then there was no word that came out of his lips for a moment. This was the longest and painful disheartened moment that Meera had to endure when she watched how Dalton clenched his jaw and through his gritted teeth he spoke so callously.
"I will call the doctor to start the procedure," Dalton said, as he rushed out of the room, leaving his mate devastated by what he said.
