"He must have noticed your bare neck." Thorne ran his fingers against her skin, and because the room was dim, Fenja didn't see the stain of dry blood on them.
His touch made her shudder. He was heavy, and he put almost all of his weight on her. He was going to crush her at this point. Was that what he planned? Kill her by suffocating her?
"Thorne," Fenja called his name, trying so hard to think of a way to get him off her. She didn't want to be marked by him. It would be a cruel process, since he would love to see her in pain. "Why don't you see your father first? There are a lot of people who have been looking for you."
"I don't want." Thorne wrapped his fingers around Fenja's neck and put a little bit of pressure. "I will meet with them if I want to."
Fenja was alarmed. Was he going to strangle her? She tried to relax, since it would give him satisfaction, but her body didn't want to cooperate. She was scared of him.
