Chapter 189 - Chapter 189: New House

Chapter 189: New House 2

The old woman standing in front of the room opened the door and saw a broken bed in front of her.

The old woman turned to look at Seraph. "What is this?"

"The bed fell down, causing me to fall into the room.

And this woman wants to kill me because she thinks I'm drilling holes in the ceiling to peek."

Seraph explained calmly, but was behind Li Wen.

Media eyed Seraph out of the corner of her eye.

The old woman walked into the room. Inside, there were only dolls. Everywhere you looked, there were dolls everywhere.

"Come in."

The old woman led the way, followed by three others.

The four of them sat in a circle. Seraph sat near the old woman, directly in front of Medea.

Li Wen sat away from Medea, to her left.

And the old woman sat to Medea's right.

"Okay, kid, explain yourself. Why are you, Medea?" He thought he'd do something like that.

Seraph began to explain the whole story.

Seraph's explanation took a long time.

Seraph finished speaking.

The old woman understood what Seraph meant by claiming his innocence.

Media smiled in acknowledgement. Li Wen listened, even though it wasn't related to her.

The old woman gathered the information together, adding to the state of the room.

The old woman surveyed Media. "I understand. This Media often misunderstands things. It's your fault. I'm sorry, both of you."

Media sighed. "Oh, it's your fault for doing something secretive. I'm not at fault."

The old woman sighed, looking exhausted. "I'm sorry. You were too self-absorbed and misinformed, leading to this."

Media looked at Seraph. "I'm sorry. I didn't know it was like that. I'm sorry."

Media bowed her head in apology.

Media finished apologizing to Seraph. He turned to apologize to Li Wen again. "I'm sorry. I'll try to speak more carefully next time."

Li Wen looked at Medea, who had changed dramatically.

He almost wondered if she was the same person in the shop.

After apologizing, Medea returned to her usual cheerful self. "Well then, that's all for now. You two can leave my room."

Seraph stood up and bowed his head in thanks to the old woman. "Thank you very much. I'll be going then."

Seraph hurriedly walked towards the door to escape the room.

Li Wen stood up and walked out of the room.

Li Wen followed behind Seraph.

Seraph hurriedly walked towards the door.

On the way, Li Wen stood up and stood next to Seraph. "Hey, that's a hassle. You ran into a problem like that. By the way, have you found an escort to the other village? I'm free.

Didn't you see my fighting ability? Would you like to hire me?"

Seraph turned to look at Li Wen. Seraph bowed his head in thanks. "Thank you. I have an acquaintance here." So I thought I'd ask an acquaintance to take me there.

Li Wen looked regretful. Li Wen lightly patted Seraph on the shoulder.

"Is that so? Good luck. I'm off."

Li Wen led Seraph, heading towards the Mitik tavern as usual.

Seraph had seen Li Wen disappear without a trace

[I doubt it. That's all I can say. But what should I do? Find a bedroom. That would be better. No, I heard they've prepared a special room. Go ask them.]

Seraph headed towards the Mitik tavern. As soon as he stepped down, the eyes of the Lanna sect all turned towards Seraph.

They assumed Seraph was an acquaintance of Medea.

Seraph walked down the stairs without paying attention and walked towards the Mitik clothing store.

Seraph entered the store. A clothing saleswoman ran up to Seraph.

"Customer, which clothes would you like?"

"Or would you like this?"

Seraph shook his head. "I'm here to see the lady at the counter."

The staff hurriedly moved aside. "Please come."

Seraph walked up to the counter.

The young woman saw this and stood up. "Are you looking for a special room? This way. We've prepared one for you. The number of people you reserved will be the same as your reservation."

The woman asked Seraph to follow her out.

Seraph followed the young woman. After a short while, they arrived at their destination, a beautifully decorated two-story house.

Seraph stood in front of the house, which was labeled "Mitti House."

It was a beautiful house, made of fine wood and decorated with wooden chairs. On the second floor, there was a balcony.

[The owner was quite a lot of people.]

Seraph looked at the young woman. "This place is definitely a good place, isn't it?"

"Yes, we will. Due to our mistake, we're offering this place to you. We just happened to have a spare room. You can use it as you please. You'll have to bring your own things."

Seraph thanked her once. [Great to have a house like this. It's a pass. It's even two stories.]

Seraph walked into his new home.

Seraph watched the people walking by, all staring at him.

Seraph didn't notice the house next door. It was an ordinary shop, not decorated particularly beautifully.

Seraph walked into the house, key in hand.

Seraph opened the door and entered, his expression calm and composed. He wasn't particularly surprised by the interior.

The interior was decorated in brown wood.

There was a dining table and two chairs.

In the center of the table was a yellow flower, not real but artificial.

There was a large lightbulb.

He saw a staircase leading up to the second floor.

Seraph walked in and stopped at the dining table, which was in a circular shape.

Seraph looked around. "Excellent. Although it's very different from what I expected, it's perfect for living."

Seraph walked up to the second floor. There was a door. He opened it and entered. The room had windows and a walkway leading to a balcony with a bed, but there were two pillows and a blanket.

Seraph walked to the balcony, where there was a chair. To rest.

Seraph walked back in and lay down. He lay on the bed, preparing for bed. It was getting late, so it was the perfect time to rest.

Seraph closed his eyes for a moment.

He heard footsteps entering the house from downstairs, followed by the sound of two pairs of footsteps.

Seraph got up from bed, looking puzzled. "A thief stealing something at this hour?"

Seraph got up from bed and looked at the two pillows.

Seraph smiled sadly, having understood the meaning of the two pillows.

"I understand. Don't tell me one is for me, and one is for that Medea. Oh, no! I'm running."

Seraph hurriedly walked to the balcony window and opened it.

Seraph walked out onto the balcony, where many people were walking by.

Seraph looked left and right, wondering what to do. Things would get complicated.

Seraph originally didn't want to stand out. "There's no escape, and there's no way down. There's no way. I can't help it. I'll just sit and wait for the time as the sun sets."

Seraph grabbed a chair and sat on the balcony, watching the setting sun.
