Chapter 185: Stalker
A long, wide rental house.
Seraph's fate played a trick on him, causing him to fall from the third floor of his own room.
He landed on the second floor, and Medea, who thought he was secretly looking at him,
Seraph quickly defended himself, "It was a misunderstanding. I only rented a room upstairs. The ceiling in the lady's room fell down,
causing the bed to fall down. It's definitely not what the lady thought."
Seraph bowed his head in apology, telling him not to press charges.
Media nodded, "Oh, so that's how it is. The holes in the ceiling made the wooden floor thinner.
That's why the ceiling collapsed. Is that how you meant to say it?"
Seraph looked up at Medea, smiling gently.
[Is this kid trying to make me a stalker? I can see it was an accident!]
"No, the ceiling collapsed, and I just moved in. If you don't believe me, ask the house staff." You can testify that I just moved in.
Media pointed at her cheek. "Huh... I understand. You wanted to bring me as a witness to the wedding, but unfortunately...
I don't like you.
Media picked up the cat doll on the floor and hugged it. "You're new, but you're doing this. It's not good, I think. Plus, I'm quite the vengeful type."
The cat doll in Medea's hand jumped out of Medea's arms.
The cat doll jumped up to Seraph's ceiling. Whoosh! Thud.
Upstairs, the cat doll surveyed the room.
Media cheered on the second floor.
Seraph stared at the doll, moving as if it were alive, walking around on the third floor in his room.
[Did I just see the cat doll move?]
Seraph stopped paying attention to the third floor and quickly returned his attention to the front. "My lady, I truly have nothing to do with it." I'll have to ask the staff first if this is true or not."
The cloth-covered chair ran to a stop behind Medea.
Media sat down on the chair that had been brought to her, crossing her legs. In her right hand, another doll jumped onto her lap. Thud!
Media stroked the doll and smiled at Seraph, showing her friendliness.
Seraph was slightly startled when he saw a doll that shouldn't be alive running towards Medea. [This looks dangerous! These dolls are magical items that can move on their own.
Don't tell me the whole room can move!?]
Seraph stared at all the dolls in the room, staring at him.
Media spoke up. "Let me warn you. I'm strong. I don't know if you're the son of a high-ranking official."
Seraph spoke again. "Did you hear what I just said, Princess?"
"You admit you're a stalker." So he's surrendering?
Seraph wanted to hit Medea with the doll, but he couldn't.
"I told you I just moved in and rented the top floor today. But because the ceiling collapsed, I fell down. If you don't believe me, go ask the staff."
[Has this kid forgotten what everyone else said? Were you not going to listen to what we just talked about!?]
Medea stared at Seraph. "That's right. I understand. You're saying I'm too beautiful. So, it's just a trivial matter. Go ask the staff. They'll say it's a trivial matter."
Seraph stared into Medea's eyes. "No."
Medea nodded. "Good. Admit your mistake. You'll die easily. You can burn whatever part you want. You can choose. I'm so kind."
Seraph began to feel strange. It was like there were so many eyes staring at him.
[Things were getting confusing. Can someone please help me fix this situation?
This anonymous person wasn't going to listen.]
Medea placed the sword on the floor. A panda-shaped doll, half the size of Medea, walked over and picked up a sword.
The panda doll held a sword twice its own length.
The sword was incredibly sharp. A single cut would surely severed a finger. If you don't believe me, try placing your finger on the sword.
Seraph retreated a foot, but couldn't. Seraph sat down on the bed and saw the panda doll.
Holding a sword, ready for execution.
[What the hell is going on? This kid is trying to make me the bad guy. Won't you listen to me!?]
Media smiled slightly. "It's time for execution. Your punishment. Now that you've confessed, death won't be painful.
Congratulations, you've been accepted by Lord Pan for your execution."
Media stared at the panda doll prepared for Seraph's execution. Seraph admitted to being a stalker.
Seraph pulled out something. It was a golden pistol. Seraph pointed it at Medea.
[I can't help it. Before I die, I want to drag this kid with me. Even though my life has taken a turn for the worse, at least we're together.]
Media saw the golden pistol. "Oh, what's a stalker going to do?"
Seraph warned. "Please calm down. Just ask the staff and this will be over."
Media nodded. "I know. No need to remind me. Are you telling me I'm going to follow you? To serve you as a service worker?"
I'm truly sorry. Besides me, I have no interest in serving anyone else. This story ends here.]
Seraph sighed. [Why can't this damn kid back down? Is his brain dead? Or do I speak a different language?
But we can communicate. Why do we act like we're not? Am I under a curse that prevents us from communicating with others?
No, of course not. The strange thing is that this kid didn't listen at all and even misinterpreted it.]
The panda doll ran straight towards Seraph, sword in hand. Pewwww!
Seraph turned the gun, aiming it at the panda doll. Seraph still thought of de-escalating the situation.
A loud bang!
A golden bullet flew in the opposite direction from the panda doll. Pewwww!
The bullet that should have been aimed at the panda doll was now aimed at Medea. Pewwww!
The bullet went to Medea's right, just a few centimeters away from hitting Medea's face.
The bullet passed through Medea's cheek. With Medea's gaze tracking the speed of the bullet, Pewwww!
Medea ignored the bullet and saw the panda doll soaring through the sky, swinging its sword from above and slashing down below.
The panda doll wanted to cut Seraph in half.
Seraph looked up at the doll. [The shot missed. Wasn't the bullet going in the opposite direction from my aim!?]
Seraph grumbled to himself. His proud bullet had gone in the opposite direction, bringing the panda doll into close range.
The panda doll's sword was just a few moments away from hitting Seraph. The cat doll on the third floor.
He was getting ready. The cat stomped on the tissue.
The cat doll on top of him shot straight down. Pewwww!
The cat doll lunged forward and kicked the sword. Pewwww! Boom!
The sword flew towards Medea. Whoosh!
Medea raised two fingers and held the sword. Smack!
Medea threw the sword to the ground. Her eyes caught sight of a cat doll floating down and landing on the bed.
"What's wrong, Cat Lord?"
The cat doll lunged at Medea's shoulder at a speed that was visible to everyone.
Medea nodded, watching as the panda doll ran to grab the flying sword.
The panda doll pulled out its sword, ready to attack Seraph.
Medea, seemingly talking to the cat doll, snapped her fingers. "Pok!"
"I understand. Congratulations. We'll both ask the staff if it's true. Why didn't they tell us from the beginning that the third floor fell and you just fell by accident?"
Medea understood the situation, and the panda doll stopped executing Seraph.
He looked slightly sad before leaving.
Seraph was relieved. [I told you from the beginning, but you didn't believe me. This kid deserves a slap.]
"I told you from the beginning. It's not like you think.
Media looked puzzled. "Oh, Brother Cat, he said it wasn't. Is the stalker thing true?"
Media looked suspicious of Seraph, because he couldn't make any sense.
Seraph felt like he'd been hit in the head with a hammer. [It's better to stay quiet. I'm too tired to talk. Nodding and shaking my head, this is the best way.]
