Chapter 129 - Chapter 129: The Curse

Chapter 129: The Curse

Seria spoke up, asking who was at fault and who helped.

Louie remained silent, challenging the situation.

Louie stood there calmly.

Zoe asked Seria, cautiously following her.

"Then here's the question: How to escape this place? Do you know how?"

Seria raised her hand, not knowing.

"I don't know. If I did, it would be weird."

Seria made a face like, "I can't help it. I'm not so good at it."

Xenon looked at the large black paintbrush, placed prominently.

"So, what should we do? I think I have some idea that could help us escape this situation."

"At first, I wanted to say, split up and search for clues. It probably wouldn't be too dangerous. Let's go explore this place first. If nothing happens, we can start exploring the paintbrush. That's what I'm thinking. Are you okay with this plan?" "

Zoe nodded in agreement with the plan.

"Other than that, there's probably no other way."

Louis agreed. "I agree. This is the only way out of this desperate situation."

Xenon looked at the three of them. "I agree, but it's very brave. The road ahead could be our demise... Don't you think so?"

Seria flashed a wonderful smile.

"I don't like this boring life. I was born, so I should do something fun. So, I realized one thing.

I have to take care of my own life.

Other people's lives need to be taken care of.

We all have a responsibility.

Do you know what that responsibility is?

I don't seem to know the answer. Let me give you a hint.

What about myself? The burden of carrying my own life is my responsibility.

Don't regret it later. I was born to be happy. I wasn't born to do boring things.

Seria pointed at the large black brush.

"Just wait and see. A wise man like me will bring out the ultimate treasure for you to see."

Question: If life is hard, why was I born?

Question: If life is so miserable, there's no need to live.

Question: How do I escape? The answer is simple: just die. Try doing things that, in the future, you'll feel good about doing them and won't regret later. That's who I am to be proud of."

Xenon stood silently, watching Seria, who seemed so bright in this time of crisis. [What does this child have that I don't?]

In a certain place, a beautiful, bright green tree.

Blue roots lined the ground. At night, a sky full of stars.

A boy with his eyes open all the time, but sadly, his eyes were blind. Seraph Boy.

Walking without a sound. No sound of wind, no breathing, no crunching leaves.

The forest was just the rustling of the wind. There was no sound. There was no sound of the seraph moving.

The seraph walked back and forth, following the path of the guided ring.

The seraph walked cautiously. The ground was covered with roots.

Seraph tripped over something in front of him.

Seraph's right foot hit something.

But there was no sound.

It was as if this place didn't allow any sound.

Seraph's face hit the ground.

No matter what he did, there was no sound. It was as if it was completely silent.

Everything in this place was made silent.

Seraph lifted himself off the ground lazily.

"Sigh... I don't know where I am anymore. I've been traveling for so long. I thought reinforcements would come to help. I guess I'm just going to assume no one will help.

In short, I'm still alone.

I have to try and do it myself.

I do everything alone. I do everything alone, so no problem."

Seraph sat down on the ground to rest. His hand grabbed something.

It looked like a stick of wood.

Seraph picked it up and stroked it, as if checking the length of the stick.

"About this size." "That's a good idea. I've made up my mind. I'll use this as my staff."

Seraph decided to use this as his staff to guide him.

"Come to think of it, this place is so strange. There's no sound. No matter what I do, I can't make any sound."

It's so scary."

Seraph rested for about an hour.

He started his journey, carrying his staff.

The staff was a pattern of old wood, hopping and curling like a white and gray.

The green light from the staff Seraph held began to release red energy, like a curse, into Seraph's body.

But Seraph didn't know what was happening, or what the curse was that was attacking Seraph.

Seraph walked, under the curse. His body gradually became red and black.

Time passed. As Seraph walked,

a figure appeared in the forest.

It looked like a ten-year-old boy with waist-length blue hair.

Both eyes had musical notes on them, a clear blue color. His name was Beetho (the musician). His clothes were a clear blue color, and he had a fish-like aquatic pattern. He was from the Flerenin School.

Beetho stopped in his tracks, looking at Seraph with a shocked expression.

"What is this child!?"

Beetho looked at the Seraph's form, whose form had been consumed by a curse, half of it.

The Seraph had red roots, slowly eating away at him, without his knowledge.

The Seraph was bleeding red blood.

The Seraph's face had roots pierced into his cheeks, his right hand had disappeared, replaced by roots.

The Seraph's right leg had begun to transform into a tree.

The red blood flowed continuously along the path.

Almost half of Seraph's body had been consumed by the curse, making him look like a monster.

Beetho stood there, his face stunned. "Someone has sneaked into the Forest of Curses, and now it's the Forest of Curses." This boy's body is being consumed. This won't do. If he stays like this, he'll surely die. This child is still very young.

The Seraph was walking, his legs moving back and forth, his body unconscious, his eyes tightly closed.

The curse began to consume Seraph, his body drying out like a tree without water.

The Seraph's staff, bearing a pair of blue eyes, stared at Beetho.

An evil spirit was beginning to be released.

Beetho looked at the blue eyes.

"The Curse of Silence transforms people into trees. People have a sense of loss, that is, they can't hear their surroundings. This is called a low-grade curse. Think of it that way. Blue roots on the ground will begin to crawl, clinging to people

on their bodies to release the curse. The solution is simple: just pull the roots out. Because it's silent, it's effective at releasing the curse, allowing them to do something silently."

The Seraph remained with his eyes tightly closed. Seraph was now unconscious, merely resting.

Beetho drew his sword. "Intentionally succumbed to the curse. No, he probably didn't know how to break it. He was still young, and he only pulled it out when he saw the blue tree. That was all. He was attacked by a low-grade, harmless curse. He truly deserves to be called a child."

Beetho drew his own sword, preparing to save Seraph.
