Necro Fusion, as a B-rank Fusion card, is a Trap Card, meaning it has to be Set a turn in advance, making it one turn slower to activate compared to regular Fusion Spell Cards.
However, like the previously used "Magicalized Fusion" while Miles was in Irena's body, it allows using monsters in the Graveyard as Fusion Materials to complete a Fusion Summon.
Such as now—when the direct attacks of two top-tier Spellcasters are about to descend—Miles performs a Fusion Summon by banishing materials from the Graveyard.

The blast from Dark Magician's Dark Magic Attack didn't veer off course. It went straight for Phoenix Enforcer, who had just taken a defensive stance with burning wings after the Fusion.
"Muahahahahahaha!"
Unable to hold back anymore, Ren broke into a smug grin, laughing to herself. Just moments ago, she had a youthful, innocent face—now, she was full-on smug.
The three Austin brothers watching below the stage were stunned by Miles's exaggerated expression.
Was this really the same little sister they knew?
Somehow... she looked even cuter!
A bratty-type bishoujo, paired with the blazing phoenix HERO on the field…
It was a breath of fresh air.
"Charge, Ren!"
"Don't give up!"
"Phoenix Enforcer—cannot be destroyed by battle! The immortal flames of the phoenix restore all damage taken!"
As searing flames flickered, the wounds inflicted by Dark Magic were instantly healed.
"Ugh, another one that can't be destroyed by battle? Even Elemental HERO fusions are this annoying?!"
Just after dealing with a Masked HERO, Miles seamlessly transitioned into the Fusion form of an Elemental HERO. The victory Irena had thought within reach was doused in an instant.
"This is the unyielding spirit of a HERO who never flees from battle, senpai!"
"Hmph!" Once again, coldly rejected, Irena pouted. "My monster still has the higher Attack. I Set one card and end my turn."
"Trying to compare Attack power? Then it's my turn—draw!"
Finally drawing his card, Miles could now play the Fusion Spell he'd been holding in hand for so long.
"Spell Card, Polymerization! I fuse Elemental HERO Sparkman from my hand with the Phoenix Enforcer on the field!"
Ren was confused, "Using Phoenix Enforcer as Fusion Material?"
Once again, Miles shatters Ren's perception of Fusion formulas. He uses a Fusion Monster, Phoenix Enforcer, as Fusion Material.
As light and fire melded, a new HERO manifested, then leapt together into the swirling Fusion effect in the sky.
"Light and fire converge to become a HERO who shines through the darkness! Fusion Summon—Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer!"

"Looking for power? Then let the souls of Elemental HEROs in my Graveyard empower him! This is Shining Phoenix Enforcer's effect!"

"Shining Phoenix Enforcer, destroy Dark Magician!"
Even though Dark Magician of Chaos had higher Attack, Irena's deck had many support cards for Dark Magician—like Thousand Knives. Miles had no desire to take a third hit from that.
Plus, with Shining Phoenix Enforcer's 3700 Attack, destroying Dark Magician would inflict more Battle Damage.
"—Shining Shock!!"
With high-frequency vibrating wings, his body became a brilliant arrow of light. Shining Phoenix Enforcer's claws approached at light speed, shattering and piercing through Dark Magician in one strike.
"Trap Card, Defense Draw, activate!"
Just as the impact of the attack was about to blow Irena away again, the emergency activation of her Trap Card formed a protective barrier to block the blast.
"This turns the Battle Damage to 0, and I draw 1 card."
Turning the crisis into an opportunity, Irena drew—Crowned by the World Chalice.
"Here it comes, the fifth one!"
Though the blush on her cheeks hadn't faded, a mysterious glint passed through Irena's blue eyes the moment she saw the card.
That was her victory formula.
On the other side, after having Shining Phoenix Enforcer destroy Dark Magician, Miles had played all his offensive cards this turn.
"I Set one card and end my turn."
He Set the final card in his hand.
So far, the tag-team of Masked HERO and Elemental HERO had gotten him this far. If that wasn't enough to defeat Irena, then he had no more HEROes left to play.
If Masked HERO represented the floor of his deck's power, then this Shining Fusion was the ceiling.
"My turn—draw."
Glancing at the card she'd just drawn, Irena could no longer contain the joy surging from within.
"Hahahahaha! This is fate, Miles. My formula for victory is complete!"
"Victory formula?"
Miles looked up at the smugly laughing ahoge-wiggling witch—Irena. No exaggeration, just pure confidence.
"You can't beat this card. I Normal Summon in Defense Position—Crowned by the World Chalice!"

Holding the same tablet as Aisha's, the World Chalice maiden stepped elegantly onto the Duel Platform.

It was a move no one could understand. Against the power of the Shining Phoenix Enforcer, summoning a monster with only high Defense.
And with just one Level 2 monster, Irena couldn't perform an Xyz Summon like Aisha did with two.
Even so, Irena made her bold declaration.
"You're drunk on fake wine, aren't you, Irena-senpai?"
"I'm more sober than ever. I told you I wouldn't let you escape. Even with phoenix wings, you're not flying from me, Miles."
Gripping her card, Irena's gaze changed in an instant—like a hunter eyeing her prey.
At this moment, with the final card in her fingers, Irena was the predator hunting Miles.
"I have assembled the five Spellcasters required for my victory formula."
"Five Spellcasters?!"
With Irena's crucial reveal, Miles finally realized the gravity of the situation.
Crowned by the World Chalice couldn't do anything by itself.
Irena Summoned it only to complete the five types of Spellcasters on the field and in the Graveyard.
Which meant—the card in Irena's hand was…
"Spell Card, Magicalized Fusion—activate!"
