Chapter 20 - Chapter 20

After they realised what they were doing, their faces blushed to a fade and yet so persistent red.

Their pupils dilated and mouth twitched madly.

Everything felt somehow peaceful when their eyes would meet eachothers like that but what would comes after wards was an unstoppable wave of feelings, thoughts and uncontrollable attempt of actions being put in active without having gave them much thought before.

This feeling was a mix of awkwardness, shame and doupt when things thought in their hearts felt so certain.

"Not yet."thought both with a panicking stares.

As they turned their head to the principal direction, they could see for their unfortunate sake that he was still speaking in a very lively way while slowly getting surrounded by teachers and some other people's they couldn't determine or even identify at all...and they seemed to have yet to be done with whatever they were discussing about.

Both felt so embarrassed at some point that they started to beg for mercy silently in the inner voice coming from their hearts.

It took quite a while before the principal and his crowds finally strayed away.

Sillias and Kayven didn't waste time and separated each others.

Face red and eyes doing everything to not look weird to the other.

*ahem*

"Let's not waste time and go get to the others... I have something important to discuss with you."Affirmed sillias while clearing her throat.

" Yes..,right, of course! "Responded Kayven in a high roughly pitch, surprising and confusing sillias both at the same time.

...

They walked the way back to their class as the feeling between them felt distraught.

They had no idea what were the right word to choose and when exactly they should used them..it was torturing enough for sillias to the point she felt her stomach twisting insides of her.

They didn't know how to act toward eachother and yet like magnets and metals they couldn't stopped themselves from being pulled closer to one another.

But they were also at the same times like...rivers and waterfalls.

One was consistent and the other intense-

There were limits and invisible wall.. Massive invisible wall between them.

As much as they gotten close recently, they were no more but simple aquintances.. At best they were roommates.

And the time they would come to think of each other as friends or...even a little more... Had not yet or sooner to come.

...

"We're so different but..like a storm, his mere presence inflict the air of power and noblesse...on contrary to I, he doesn't adapt himself to others..but make others adapt themselves to him."though sillias as her eyes wandered through the walls averting Kayven states by all means trying to forget and put their embarrassing earlier way too close proximity in the past.

As they reached the class they were awaited by the others impatiently.

They all stood in front of the door like sheep's waiting for their master.

Their expressions were hidden by the shadow reflection of the walls.

As they got closer to them and could finally see their faces,Sillias couldn't help herself but laughth.

Their faces was covered with black and red ink.

" So mind telling us what happened?"questioned Kayben in a mocking tone, hiding his face behind it's arms as tiny chuckled buzzed in the hall.

The others were astonished.

He was laughing.

Maybe mocking them but still.

And sillias..

She could not be more lost.

...

They cleaned their faces with wet towels and directed themselves to the dorms just after.

On the way to the dorms they confessed the truth on how their faces got painted..

....

"We just went to ink and parchment section of the furniture storage of the schools.. And well there we heard noises, like a call for help..

But then nothing-

*pouf*

Like everything, every sound just disappeared, then we got lost..and bumped into shelves other shelves..over and over again."

..

Sillias bursted out in a fury laugh, their explanation was so confusing and yet so idiotic.

"You boys are so mean." Complained Samantha sarcastically in an over dramatic tone.

..

At some point back in the dorms sillias thought of it again and a things bothered her.

"Wait...Now that I think of it,How much were those inks?"she asked to her roommate while organising her belongings.

..

"Well it was quite valuable and ancient so probably about a million or-"

"pardon to interrupt you in the middle of your sentence but I think my ears are playing tricks-

I thought you were going to say a million or more?" She stated interrupting him.

"You heard me right."

...

The words echoed in sillias mind repeatedly like a loop.

"snobby rich." She muttered.

" Oh cmon? They'll just pay its no big deal."He replied sliding into his bed and sinking into it's comfortable and warm embrace.

Sillias stood up and then did the same, but the words still never left her mind as it slashed into her brains and occupied all the vacant and unvaccant spot of it.

'Toffee-nosed with friggin money to burn Nobles'Was an expression she would hear once or quite often back then, when she was still a street child.

She didn't really understood it back then but it seemed to have taken all it's sense in itself now.

"You can really buy everything huh-" she thought in concerns.

"Must be nice." She murmured as her eyelids felt heavy and that the exhaustion consumed her little by little.

She yawned and stretched her arms up and sat on the bed.

After a minute of analysing the room she finally blowed off the light and pulled the curtains.

She layed herself down and as time passes she slowly counted the minute left for a new day to start.

Noises dissolved themselves into the background Unxesistent babbling.

Tomorrow would be the sport annual day. They had to be awake ready really early.

..

She counted and counted and by the end finally finds sleeps.

.. But nothing could have really prepared her for what would come next.

Cause sometimes the scarriest challenges of life are the one we have no control of.

By the same means, the deepest scars are the one we unintentionally carves onto ourselves...
