Yohan was escorted out of the room and left standing by the door.
He glanced to his side, Lena stood a short distance away with her back against the wall.
An awkward silence stretched between them long enough that Yohan eventually felt forced to speak.
"H-How have you been?"
Lena turned to look at him.
She stared in silence for a few seconds before looking away again. No dismissive words, just cold silence.
That alone was enough to tell him she had no intention of acting friendly.
And honestly… he wasn't sure he even had the right to expect that from her.
'Just standing this close to the man responsible for your sister's death must already feel unbearable'
There was no forgiving something like that.
A short while later, Gunjoo stepped out of the conference room.
"Are you done? Which one did you pick?" he asked eagerly.
"Why should I tell you?"
"Because I brought you all the way here. Don't be ungrateful"
