The door to Helen's apartment pushed open, and the three of them stepped in.
"Are you sure it's no problem?" Yohan asked, pulling along Remi's briefcase.
"I really don't mind, besides these rooms haven't been used even when it was me and my husband staying here," Helen replied with a bright, friendly smile.
"Then why did you guys get a house with four extra rooms?"
"Because we planned on having kids… I still do, actually…" she gave Yohan a flirtatious glance.
Yohan gulped, finding it a bit hard to swallow.
She led them down the hallway to one of the rooms. When Helen opened the door, Remi paused, a little stunned.
The room was elegant—high ceilings, soft lighting, sheets that looked far too expensive to lie on.
"This is… really nice," Remi said, setting her bag down carefully. "Are you sure it's okay?"
Helen smiled. "Of course. Though, funny enough, this room was actually set up for Yohan."
Remi turned slightly, her expression flickering. "For him?"
