Chapter 25 - An Incident

Yohan struggled to drag himself out of bed. Saturdays were usually the most annoying days for him, but today he felt even worse.

Mostly because he went to sleep late, and that was because he had to escort Chloe home after their time together last night—plus the hangover from the few drinks they had.

"Has my tolerance for alcohol reduced?" he sat up, rubbing his tired face before forcing himself to his feet.

"The worst part is that I still have to prepare for work."

The main reason why he hated Saturdays was that while other people got to enjoy their weekends, he still had to go to work. He sighed, grabbing his towel and headed for the bathroom.

"I'm already very late," he mumbled before stepping inside.

"Huh?" His brows rose at the sight before him. It was Cassie, fully naked under the shower. She stared back at him, confused for a few seconds before screaming.

"Ahh!!"

"I'm sorry," he said quickly, turning away.

'Wait, why am I the one apologizing? She's the one who didn't lock the door'

"It's not my fault, you're the one that didn't lock the door," he said, at the same time trying to sneak a peek so he could perfectly burn the image in his mind.

"That's because I thought you had gone to work. Now get out, you pervert!"

"Sorry," he muttered, taking one final look before leaving.

As soon as he stepped out, the image of his cousin's perky breasts and slender ass, with her clean-shaven pussy, replayed in his head.

"I didn't know she was this hot," he murmured, his cock already turning rock solid.

'I'd love to see her face when she comes out, but I need to get to work'

Today Mia wasn't coming in, and Chloe didn't have a key, so she was probably already waiting for him.

'I can shower when I get there'

He prepared his things and left, but the image of Cassie's naked body refused to leave his mind no matter how hard he tried.

'But how can she not lock the door when she knows she's sharing a bathroom with a guy?'

Their house had three rooms and two bathrooms—one in his uncle's room and the other for the remaining two rooms to share. This wasn't even the first time she had done something like this. Sometimes she would completely forget to lock the door.

'Maybe she's still not used to having me around… but at least I got to see something good. I still haven't gone soft yet'

He quickened his pace. "Chloe can help me release the tension."

'But to be honest, I wish I didn't have to go to work today. How come I'm the only one that doesn't get a day off? Even Chloe and Mia get a weekend off every two weeks… maybe I'll have to hire someone else to assist me'

When Yohan arrived at the shop, there was someone waiting—but it wasn't Chloe.

"What are you doing here? Mia isn't coming to work today," he asked the man leaning on the bike.

"I know. I'm actually here to see you," Mia's boyfriend said, putting out the cigarette in his hand.

"Huh? See me? Why?"

The guy sighed. "Look, I think we got off on the wrong foot."

He stretched out his hand for a handshake. "I'm Jamie."

Yohan accepted it. "Nice to meet you. So what do you wanna talk about?"

Jamie scratched the back of his head. "It's not really a big deal. I just wanted to apologize on behalf of my friend Dave. I know he can be a little hot-headed sometimes."

"Oh, is that all? There's no need to worry about that. I'm not the type to bear grudges." Yohan said lightly.

"Oh, thank goodness." Jamie sighed in relief. "Honestly, I imagined this was going to be harder than this."

"So, when can he come back to work?" he added with a calm chuckle.

Yohan gave the slightly taller man a confused look.

"When did I say he could come back and work here?"

"You just said you don't hold any grudge against him."

"Yeah, and I actually don't. But that doesn't mean I want him to come back," Yohan said

Suddenly, Jamie's friendly smile disappeared. "Look, I promised my friend I'd get his job back, so don't fuck around with me."

Yohan sighed. "I'm sorry, but a half-ass apology from you won't change my mind. Dave disrespected me, and I'm not going to allow him back just so he can do it again."

Jamie grabbed Yohan's collar and slammed him against the iron gate.

"Listen, fucker. I tried to be nice to you because of Mia, but if you think I'm a joke, you'd be making a big fucking mistake."

"Jamie?" a soft voice called out.

"Mia?" Jamie looked confused as he turned to see her, quickly letting go of Yohan.

"I-I thought you weren't coming to work today?" he asked with a forced smile, as if he hadn't just been threatening Yohan.

"I wasn't, but Chloe called and said she wouldn't be able to make it, so we decided to switch shifts. But… what are you doing here?"

"Yeah, why don't you tell her," Yohan said smugly.

"I… I was just having a little talk with Yohan, and it got a bit heated," Jamie replied, patting Yohan softly on the shoulder and straightening his collar. "Sorry about that."

He got on his bike. "I'll come pick you up later?"

"Okay, sure," she replied.

He shot Yohan one more look before driving off.

"Bastard," Yohan cursed.

"Are you okay, Yohan?" she asked.

"Yeah. Just tell your boyfriend to stay away from me."

"I'm sorry about his behavior. I'll talk to him about it later," she said with a smile. "Let's go inside."
