On another chaotic battlefield, Xuanzi and the Sunbright Douluo both possessed the strength of Ultimate Douluo. On the vicious beast side, Bear Lord and the Myriad Demon King were quickly suppressed by the two; only Bear Lord, relying on his soul-tool armor, managed to avoid being overwhelmed.
As for the Scarlet King and the Zi ji, they were even more thoroughly suppressed by Yan Shaozhe and Elder Song. The two vicious beasts were at most equivalent to ordinary Super Douluo in strength—completely outmatched by Yan Shaozhe and Elder Song.
Jiang Shengyu and Jiang Qingtong's gazes fell upon the Lake of Life.
The terrifying battle raging in the sky caused the waters of the Lake of Life to tremble constantly, waves surging outward. The surrounding trees had already been shattered by the residual shockwaves. Soul engineers hidden within the forest were forcibly exposed.

"Wonderful. So the vermin of the Sun–Moon Empire are here as well! Star Dou Forest, you must truly be courting death, daring to cooperate with the Sun–Moon Empire!"
"How amusing. We of Star Dou Forest can cooperate with whomever we please—what does that have to do with your Shrek Academy?"
Zi ji snorted coldly. Even while being suppressed by Elder Song, she still found the time to mock Yan Shaozhe.
"Brat, you think you have any right to lecture us? Go home and look at yourself in a mirror!"
Yan Shaozhe's eyes chilled. Behind him, the Light Phoenix spirit surged with power, and clusters of pure white phoenix true-fire rained down toward Zi ji.
Forced to dodge the scorching phoenix flames in midair, Zi ji's speed slowed. Elder Song seized the opening, closing in instantly and slamming her down toward the ground with a single palm strike.
Zi ji let out a cry of pain as her body crashed against the lakeside of the Lake of Life. The Scarlet King, locked in battle with Yan Shaozhe, fared even worse—one of his front legs was broken, the fangs on his left head shattered, and the fur on his body had been scorched black by the phoenix fire!
The Myriad Demon King wasn't in any better condition. Combat had never been his strength, and the Heavenly Sun Douluo's martial soul attributes happened to counter his yin-cold nature and poisons. As a result, none of his attacks could affect the Heavenly Sun Douluo at all.
Golden light severed his vines, forcing the Myriad Demon King to retreat rapidly. He fell back to the side of Zi ji and the Scarlet King, toward the area closer to Jiang Shengyu and the others.
Only Bear Lord was in relatively good shape. His own strength was tremendous—close to that of a Ultimate Douluo—and with his soul-tool armor enhancing him, he was almost evenly matched with Xuanzi!
Both bore wounds, each having gained and suffered losses.
But after Bear Lord saw the condition of the Myriad Demon King and the others, he didn't hesitate. Returning immediately to his true form, his massive Darkgold Terror claw Bear body burst through the soul-tool armor. With one great leap, he landed in front of Zi ji and the others, using his enormous frame to shield them from Xuanzi and the others.
Xuanzi and the Heavenly Sun Douluo flanked him from left and right, forming a pincer formation to control the beasts' movements.
Seeing this, Yan Shaozhe immediately shouted toward the battlefield above:
"Ditian! Stop now! Or these beasts will die without burial!"
Hearing this, Ditian glanced downward. Seeing Bear Lord and the others pinned below, his eyes grew cold. He instantly pulled away from Da Ming.
Da Ming looked at him and said in a deep voice:
"Surrender, Ditian! If you do, Star Dou Forest remains Star Dou Forest—you will still be the Beast God."
"Traitor of the soul beasts!" Ditian replied icily, his tone full of contempt. "The future of Star Dou Forest—and the position of Beast God—is not yours to meddle with!"
Da Ming frowned. "Do you want them to die?"
Ditian's gaze shifted downward toward the Lake of Life. His lips began moving, as though chanting something. No one could understand the sound—except Zi ji, whose true form was the Hell Demon Dragon. She recognized a fragment of it.
It was Dragon Tongue.
Ditian was chanting the most orthodox form of Dragon Tongue.
Although Da Ming didn't know what he was saying, he instantly sensed something was wrong and tried to stop him. But at that moment, ripples appeared across the surface of the Lake of Life. The next second, a brilliant silver light erupted from its depths!
The silver radiance enveloped Ditian—a vast, majestic power descending upon him. This power radiated with pride and sovereign authority, causing instinctive reverence to rise in the hearts of Bear Lord and the other vicious beasts below.
Da Ming was no exception.
Feeling that inexplicable fear of Ditian welling up in his heart, Da Ming clenched his teeth.
"Silver Dragon King…! Damn you!"
Hearing this, Ditian's brows furrowed. He swung his dragon claw toward Da Ming, tearing open a spatial crack. A colossal force traveled through the spatial tunnel and struck Da Ming directly, carving a deep wound across his chest—bone visible beneath the torn flesh!
Below, Xuanzi and the others were shocked beyond belief.
What was happening?
Why did this silver light possess such terrifying power?
Silver Dragon King—what was that? Could there truly be a soul beast stronger than Ditian in Star Dou Forest?
The silver radiance also descended upon Bear Lord and the others. The waters of the Lake of Life surged, nourishing their bodies and healing their injuries.
In the sky, empowered by the Silver Dragon King's blessing, Ditian reversed his disadvantage and seized the upper hand. On the ground, Bear Lord roared and lunged toward Xuanzi. The Myriad Demon King summoned countless vines to entangle the Heavenly Sun Douluo. The Scarlet King and Zi ji coordinated their efforts, relying on the advantages of soul beasts to engage Yan Shaozhe and Elder Song with all their might.
Simply the presence of the Silver Dragon King's aura had nearly overturned the entire battle in an instant.
Da Ming struggled to fend off Ditian's attacks, his focus fixed entirely on the Lake of Life. At this point, he had confirmed without doubt—the Silver Dragon King was beneath the lake.
If that was the case—
Da Ming withdrew from Ditian, pulling distance between them. Suddenly, he took out a sea-blue object shimmering with radiant blue light.
The Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud.
After ten thousand years of refinement by Tang San, it had become a true divine artifact.
For a moment, it seemed as though an entire ocean had manifested above the core region of Star Dou Forest.
Da Ming activated the Vast Sea Protective Barrier, blocking Ditian's attacks. Then, using all his strength, he charged toward the Lake of Life. Bear Lord and the others sensed his intent and immediately moved to intercept.
"Vast Sea Tempest!"
Da Ming unleashed another of the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud abilities—a massive area attack—that blasted all four vicious beasts away. The silver glow surrounding them dimmed visibly.
Raising the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud,Da Ming aimed it directly at the Lake of Life, activating its most powerful single-target attack—
Universe Shatterer!
The brilliance of this strike seemed to devour all light between heaven and earth, plunging everything else into dimness.
Yet at that critical instant, a lotus of mirrored light blossomed before Da Ming. A golden spectral hand reached out to strike him. And at the very same moment, the synchronized voices of one man and one woman echoed—
"Spirit Fusion—Mirror Image, Flower and Moon!"
