Lira stepped out of the underground chamber, her hands still tingling from the warmth of the fire shard. The morning sun was just brushing the academy's grounds, casting long golden streaks across the courtyard. Her heart raced with anticipation. She knew that finding the remaining shards wouldn't be easy, and her mind immediately turned to the one companion who could help her reach places impossible by ordinary means.
She found Serelyth resting under the giant tree in the grove, her white hair catching the sunlight like strands of silver. Even in human form, the dragon exuded an aura of calm authority, her sapphire eyes sharp yet welcoming as she noticed Lira approaching.
"Serelyth," Lira called softly, but with urgency, "I need your help."
