Not long after Nylah walked out of the dining room, I too stood up and excused myself.
"Where are you going? You barely touched your food." Ivy asked with a confused expression on her face.
"I've lost my appetite." I replied as I walked out of the hall.
What was she thinking bringing Nylah into the dining room to discuss such a sensitive issue?
Even though I avoided Nylah and still couldn't deny the hatred I felt for her, I didn't want her to know about no babies. And I wasn't even ready for some kids yet.
Hell, I didn't even know if what I was doing would lead to my doom. Having kids with Ivy could mean doom and a journey of no return.
I wasn't ready for that yet.
"Where to Alpha?" The driver in the car I hopped into asked as soon as I settled down at the back seat.
"Take me to work." I replied and the driver stepped on the accelerator.
I got to work but was not in the mood to do anything and it seemed like Brian noticed it.
