I almost turned around and walked away from Ivy, but she called me back.
"Nylah?" Her voice was like an innocent little cat's voice. Just before it lures its prey and devours it.
I turned around again. Sofia saw her already as well, and she just stared at the lady, waiting for what she would say.
"You are in charge of the hospital, right?" She asked with her voice dripped with honey.
"Yes, we are in charge." I included Sofia in it.
Ivy nodded calculatively and walked around the hospital a step at a time.
Ivy and I followed her with our eyes as we watched her study the place like it was a museum.
She turned around to face us.
"Nice place." She said, her gaze on me alone.
I just stood in place, with no expression on my face. Watching her, waiting for her to say the reason for her coming to the hospital.
Perhaps she was here to threaten me to stay away from her soon to be husband just like she did before.
