DRAKE
"What do you know about the problem that is going on?" I asked the old man when he told me he wanted to see me concerning the problem.
"Are you not having an issue with the supplier who is supposed to bring you some goods?" He asked, and I squinted.
"How did you know about that?" He smiled and shook his head.
"The goddess knows all. She sent me to help you. She said she is going to reward you for keeping me here and taking good care of me." He continued.
I nodded tactically, still doubting his words. How was he going to help me with the supplier who had refused to deliver the goods we already paid for and was asking for more money instead? I wondered.
"How is she going to help me with this? If I don't get the supplies by the latest tomorrow, my pack will starve." My worry was visible on my face as I spoke.
"Call him again." The old man spoke.
"What?" I asked like I didn't hear him well.
