My secretary's call woke me up the next day, and I almost cursed the person at the end of the call when I picked up the call until I heard his voice, and he sounded troubled.
For someone who was unfazed most of the time, that was all the hint I needed to know that things were not going well.
I jumped down from the bed and went to the wardrobe, selecting my clothes with one hand while the phone was in the other hand.
"The operation failed, sir. The police and security team found nothing in the company. They must have moved the goods." He explained.
"What?" I asked before I could hold myself.
"How did that happen? Did you get any info regarding where they might have taken it?" I asked, and I could imagine him shaking his head at my question.
Yes, the police might have seen the video, but it wasn't enough to pick up a CEO who didn't have such accused goods in his possession.
