I was in my room trying to sleep but Nelly, since she sensed my erratic emotions during the bordroom she has been insistent on knowing what happened and why did I behave as I did.
"Its not easy you know." I finally said.
"What is not easy host." Nelly asked confused.
"Nelly, in my previous life my childhood was not really kind to me."
"So when I grew up I left from my hometown and started acknew in a city where no one knew me, the poor little girl whose parents died. I ensured that everyone knew me as a strong person who doesn't hesitate from taking on a challenge." I said solemnly reminiscing the memories I usually avoided like a plague.
"I don't remember my childhood in this life but something tells me it was also full of struggle. Guess todays situation though extremely small and insignificant, it still reminded me of those days when..." I stopped there unable to continue.
"Its okay host. Everything will be alright." Nelly said trying to soothe me.
"Host you were insistent about your pokemon getting professional help. What about you. Why not you too get it." Nelly asked.
"And what should I talk about. I have nothing that I remember about this life of mine and I can't exactly say that I remember my past life Nelly." I burst out. Realizing how I acted but still too rattled I changed my clothes and went out to clear my head.

Underground battle arena-
It was a batlle arena, rich came here to bet, this place was where drugs to enhance pokemon potential-thought they were harmul in the long shot, drugs for human, carnal pleasure and much more.
'Ugh, this place is just like I remember.' I though. Though I still came here. Needed to let off some steam and what better way than to have a battle. I was again in my Siren getup. Todays prize was a normal gem and a ice gem. Good, I needed one for Fearow and Glaceon. And with how rare gems are, of course many were eying the prize.
Today's battle round was a double battle. I plan to use scyther and poliwhirl. Oshuwott and togepie are not yet strong enough for this kind of round and onix is too big for an arena like this. Rest are too strong for this round and as a champion I prefer not using my well known pokemon. Also just a few days ago using the mystic pendant I have enhanced Poliwhiirl potential to elite. So yeah...
My first few competitors pokemon were just buffed up. The saying of pokemon world 'No pokemon are useless, its the trainer who are the useless.'. Yeah it was something like that only with my first few competitors. Anyway, I am just here to let my pokemon to gain battle experience. And cause batteling is the only thing that get my mind of...
...stuff. Of course they batteled with there all. It was a betting ground where the players too have betted on themselves. So battles were intense. But like I said, nothing Poliwhirl and Scyther could not handle. They are used to more intense battles anyway with my experienced pokemon.
I reached the finals only to be shocked. It was Ariana. The former team rocket executive. Seems she recognized my getup too cause her indiferent expression immediately turned to a scowling one.
Now that I remember there was a report of her running away from police custody.
"Go Golem, Kadabra."

'Well she was unable to take any pokemon with her during her run. As long as its not her vileplume or Arbok.'
"Go Poliwhirl, Scyther"

'This is going to be a tricky battle.' I thought.
Ariana:"Kadabra, Psybeam on Poliwhirl! Golem, Rock Slide!"
A classic opener—Psybeam targeting Poliwhirl's Fighting weakness, Rock Slide pressuring Scyther's Flying type.
Regina reacted instantly.
Regina:"Poliwhirl, Guard with Water Pulse—disperse the force! Scyther, Quick Attack—evasive line!"
Water Pulse collided with Psybeam mid-air, reducing the impact. Poliwhirl skidded back but stayed upright.
Scyther blurred forward, narrowly slipping between falling rocks, one wing clipped—damage, but controlled.
Regina:"Scyther, Double Team—force target confusion. Poliwhirl, Hypnosis on Golem."
Scyther split into multiple afterimages, exploiting Kadabra's reliance on precision. Poliwhirl spun its finger rhythmically.
Ariana countered sharply.
Ariana:"Kadabra—Calm Mind, then Psybeam wide spread! Golem—Earthquake!"
Psychic energy surged. Psybeam cut through multiple Scyther images, exposing the real one. Earthquake shook the entire field—super effective against Golem's own typing risk, but devastating to positioning.
Poliwhirl leapt to avoid the worst of the tremor, while Scyther was forced airborne, wings straining.
Both sides were breathing harder now.Equal damage. Equal pressure.
Ariana saw her opening.
Ariana:"Kadabra, Thunder Punch on Poliwhirl! Golem, Stone Edge—Scyther!"
Electric energy crackled—Water weakness exploited. Poliwhirl took the hit but twisted, absorbing just enough to stay conscious. After all Kadabra attack stat was painfully low but type effectiveness also could not be ignored.
Regina's eyes narrowed.
Regina:"Poliwhirl, counter with Ice Beam—Scyther, Swords Dance!"
Ice Beam slammed into Golem—super effective against Ground typing, frost spreading across its rocky body.
Meanwhile, Scyther's blades glowed. Attack sharply rose.
The balance shifted—but only slightly.
Both teams were worn. One mistake would decide it.
Regina:"Now—execute. Poliwhirl, Hydro Pump on Golem! Scyther, X-Scissor—Kadabra!"
Perfect type synergy.
Hydro Pump crashed into Golem, exploiting a 4× Water weakness. Golem roared but held for a second—
X-Scissor crossed in a blazing green arc. Kadabra attempted Teleport—
Too slow.
Kadabra went down first.
Golem staggered… then collapsed as the Hydro Pump finished.
Silence.-
Ariana just gritted her teeth while recalling her pokemon. Wonder where she got them from. I took the reward and immediately left from there. After ensuring no one had followed me I changed back into my usual outfit and sneaked into my hotel. But...
I should apologize to Nelly. Will do it tomorrow.
