It was now the top 16. Unlike in canon Ash and Ritchi battel happened on time and Ritchi lost. Maybe because team rocket did not interfere this time. Gary also won all the preliminaries round and top 16 round unlike canon. Now it was my turn.
I was up against a girl named Elle from the joy clan.
"Go Azumarril."
[Azumarril-lvl 56-psudo elite]
"Go espeon."
[Espeon-lvl 71-elite]
"Ajumaril use ice punch." Elle.
"Espeon use psychic fangs." Both clashed. Ajumarril fainted. To be able to attack when espeon is comming at such a fast seed. Impressive.
"With so many one hit KO. It now feels like a normal thing. Will Elle be able to hold her ground."
"Go Clefable use dazling gleam." Elle.
[Clefable-lvl 55-elite]
"Espeon protect." I called out.
"Clefable use thunder punch." Elle.
"Espeon use psybeam." I called out. Clefable fainted but not before attacking Espeon. Hmm and the attack was also not weak.
"Just one more attack and espeon will be done." Elle muttered but the next second she was shocked considering that Espeon injuries began to heal. Morning sun attack. This just made it more difficult for her.
"Go Blissey."
[Blissey-lvl 54-elite]
"Blissey use egg bomb."
"Espeon dodge and use zen headbutt." I called out.
"Blissey use fire punch." Elle. Both clashed. Blissey fainted.
"Another easy win for Regina." Announcer. Recalled my Espeon and went away not knowing what rumors would that create.

My next match was for the title of top 8 against Lynn. It was a 6v6 match. Lets see.
"Go Victreebell."

"Go Charizard." Sunny day took effect.

"Charizard use flamethrower and burn every powder." I called out. It started to rain with flames. Victrebell was really hurt.
"Victrebell use leaf storm"
"Charizard use fire spin." I called out. It countered the leaf storm and eventually reached victrebell. It fainted.
"Will Sharon be able to stand up to Regina. Or will she fall like the rest." Anouncer.
"Return Victrebell go Arkenine fire blast."
[Arkenine-lvl 56-elite]
"Charizard dodge and use dragon rush." I called out.
"Arkenine flare blitz" Sharon called out. Both hit. Arkenine fainted. But Charizard was hurt a bit.
"Good job Arkenine. Go Gengar shadow ball."
[Gengar-psudo elite-lvl 58]
"Charizard dodge and use fire pledge." How are all of her pokemon elite level. Either she has insane ammount of luck or these are from a breeding centre.
"Gengar use night shade." Charizard was caught of guard. Gengar fainted. Hmm its trained well. But such high potential pokemon means top breeding centre.
"Sandslash go use rock throw." Sharon.
[Sabdslash-psudo elite-lvl 52]
"Charizard dodge and use dragon pulse." Sandslash fainted.
"Return sandslash. Go Alakazam."
[Alakazam-psudo elite-lvl 57]
"Alakazam use psybeam."
"Dodge and inferno." I called out. Alakazam fainted.
"Last pokemon ladies and gentleman. Is there still hope for trainer Sharon." Announcer.
"Go Blastoise use hydro pump."
[Blastoise-elite-lvl 60]
"Dodge and use solar beam." I called out. Charizard was using sunny day after every two moves. The sunlight was strong enough to immediately charge the attack.
"Blastoise hydro cannon." Sharon called out. Both attacks clashed. Strong enough.
"Charizard thunder punch." I called out. After hydro cannon user momentarily needs to rest before it can attack. Perfect time to attack. Blastoise was hurt but somehow still standing.
"Blastoise hydro pump." Sharon called out.
"Dodge and solar beam." I called out. Blastoise wasn't able to take it anymore. It fainted.
"And the winner of the match is Regina." Announcer.
I just bowed to Sharon and left recalling charizard in my ball.
"And there is the respect bow everyone. Miss Sharon has officially been recognized." I heard. Whatever.
Next day-
My next match was up against Lynn. She has shown exceptional strength like Sharon as a rookie trainer.
"Go Pidgeot."
[Pidgeot-psudo elite-lvl 51]
"Go blastoise." I called out. Rain dance, life dew and water veil activated.
[Blastoise-champion-lvl 75]
"Pidgeot use arial ace."
"Blatoise use skull bash." I called out. Pidgeot fainted.
"Go Vileplume petal blizard."
[Vileplume-elite-lvl 54]
"Blastoise blizard." The petal blizard was pushed back. vileplume fainted.
"Returen vileplume go Gyarados hyper beam."
[Gyarados-elite-lvl 56]
"Protect blastoise." I called out.
"Blastoise use flash cannon." I called out. Before gyarados could recover I issued an attack. It fainted.
"Return Gyarados. Go Ninetails fire blast." Lynn.
[Ninetails-elite-lvl 55]
"Blastoise withdraw." I called out. Blastoise was hurt but also healing.
"Ninetails shadow ball."
"Blastoise hydro pump." I called out. Both attacks hit on mark. Ninetails fainted.
"Go Arbok poision fang."
[Arbok-lvl 55-elite]
"Blastoise water pulse before it can attack." I called out. Arbok fainted buut not before poisioning blastoise with toxic attack.
"Good job arbok go Golduck."
[Golduck-elite-lvl 60]
Lvl 60. Interesting. The rain cleared up. Cloud nine ability.
"Blastoise use ice beam."
"Golduck dodge and use ice punch." Lynn called out.
"Blastoise water pulse." The momment it came closer blastoise released the attack. Golduck but did not stop and still attacked blastoise.
"Golduck use giga impact." Lynn
"Blastoise hyper beam." I called out. Both clashed. Golduck fainted. To be able to take even one attack of my pokemon is good enough considering the difference in our potential.
"This match winner is Regina. She did it again. With only one pokemon she won the entire match." Announcer.
I bowed to her, recalled Blastoise and left.
Audience-
"Yay."
"Thankyou miss Regina. You saved us."
"She won the match. I won the house."

The finals was next. Blastoise was with nurse joy. Now the match between Gary and Ash will take place. Lets see who I have to face in the finals.
"Come on Regina move fast. I want to see who will win." Mairin.
"Calm down Mairin. The match is going no where." Alan.
In the stadium-
"Go Alakazam."
[Alakazam-lvl 63-psudo champion]
"Go Butterfree."
[Butterfree-lvl 60-elite]
Both batteled brutually. Butterfree had quite some tricks up its sleeve. Plus it has a type advantage against alakazam. Both had a tie but Alakazam was still able to set up a future sight attack.
"Go Nidoking."

"Go Starmie."
[Starmie-elite-lvl 64]
The battle went on. Another type advantage Ash had. But Gary still wasn't letting Starmie have its way. But soon future sight took place and starmie fainted.
"Go Venasaur"

The results were unclear. Both were not giving the other any chance. With solar beam though venasaur secured the match.
"Go Arkenine."
[Arkenine-psudo champion-lvl 67]
They fought really well. But venasaur wasn't able to stand much in front of a fire type.
"Go Blastoise."
[Blastoise-elite-lvl 64]
Both fought really well. Arkenine thunder fang really wore it down. But blastoise also fought hard and won.
"Go Raticte."
[Raticate-champion-lvl 68]
It was tough match. Everyone initially though that raticate would lose but its wide movest and agile style proved everyone wrong. Blastoise fainted.
"Go Pikachu."
[Pikachu-champion-lvl 68]
Both fought hard. Unlike cannon pikachu already knew moves like volt tackle and electro ball. Both fainted.
"Go Blastoise."

"Go Charizard."

How did he get his chartizard to reach the potential of psudo legend.
"Blastoise let us unite as one and win this. Mega evolve."
"Charizard lets show them what we got. Mega evolve."

The audience were exited. It was the first mega battle in last ten years. Not anyone can get mega stones can they. Both fought really hard. In the end charizard won. Though he was barely able to stand himself.
The league decided to give two days off before the finals. Hmm guess I have some time till finals.
