We were completing our final training before gym battel when we saw a guy battling with his Shiny Charmender! I recognized him as cross.
(Charmander(Shiny) :Elite class: lvl :15)
[Side Mission: Challenge Cross-save shiny Charmender.
Reward: 5000pts and poke finder x1 ]
And so I challenged him with my Mankey. Hew was overconfident that he would win but boy was he in for a big disappointment or what.
"Go Mankey use karate chop.."
"Keke" Charmender was injured.
"Damn it use Flamethrower." Cross said irritated.
"Dodge and use trash." He did as I said and Charmender was very injured as a result.
"Low kick" It hit its mark and Charmander was knocked out.
"Damn it you pathetic-" He was about to kick him but before he could I ordered Mankey to Tackle him down.
"Bastard. What a petty loser. Can't accept his incompetence so is taking it out on his pokemon huh!" I mocked him. I really hated the abuse of pokemon. There is a difference between being strict and being trash. Guess he doesn't know. Then he did the unthinkable. That bastard released him. Wow what an idiot. He handed me the cash and started walking away.
"Hello charmander." I said to the shiny charmender while smiling. She stopped crying and looked at me.
"I though winning against him will only earn me cash but who though I would get a Charmander as well. A shiny one at that." She looked confused. I just chuckled and asked "Would you like to come with me?" To which she stared dumbfounded. "Answer fast or-I-will-take-it-as-yes." I said in a sing-song voice. She agreed hesitatingly, I caught her immediately before she could change her mind and added her to my main team.
I took her to pokemon centre and explained the situation to Nurse Joy. She immediately did some tests on her. She had several injuries. I then let her rest and heal. I decided to take her with me to the gym for a change of pace.
I went to Cerulean gym. "I would like to challenge the gym leader here." I said to the receptionist. She said that they would be free after the water ballet show is over. I... just went inside and saw them performing. It is not that performing is wrong. Gym leader can peruse two profession at once. It's not wrong. But neglecting their duties as gym leader for performing water ballet. According to the nearby trainers they very rarely battel and mostly just hand out the badges. If they don't want to be gym leaders then they should quit already.
After the performance I went there and I directly challenged them.
"Well so you are here to challenge us" Lily said. I nodded at that. 'I thought I stated it pretty clearly.'

Man even system is not read to give big rewards for these 3.
"Go Seeking" Daisy sent out.
(Seeking :Psudo Gym class: lvl 18)
Damn my Pichu is of lvl 20 and I just caught her.
"Go Pichu"
"Wow what a cutie. I feel sorry for having to defeat it. But what can I do. I mean it's her trainer fault after all." Daisy said. The rest 2 were agreeing with her, though Lily was reluctant I noticed.Currently I was battling all three of them. Me and Pichu frowned at that.
"Pichu let's show them what it is like to mess with us." I said to her quietly.
"Pi-pichu" My Pichu started grinning evilly at that.
"Well why don't we make this more interesting. If I defeat all three of you then only I will get the Cascade badge. If any of you defeat me I will lose." I said while smirking.
"You think you are so smart, okay then Seeking use horn attack on that mouse."
"Pichu thunder in the whole pool." She did as I said and voila seeking was fried. Normally it would not have work as Pichu is yet not at that strong but water conducts electricity so...
"Seeking cannot battel. First round winner is Regina."
Violet: "I will show you what real power is.
"Go Cloyster."
(Cloyster: Gym class : lvl 20)
'Hmm at least this one's way better. But still...'
"Pichu attract" I said.
"Clo-cloyster" Voilet was in disbelief.
"Fu fu fu fu fu, Pichu lets win this alright. Thunder punch"
"Piii chu" The attack directly hit the cloyster. It fainted because of this. 'Training hard enough till Pichu could break rocks, I guess is a good method for training huh.'
"Cloyster" Violet said in shock.
"Cloyster cannot battel. Second round winner is Regina."
"Well now Pichu is not such a weak little cutie huh." I said while giggling.
"Pi pichu"
"You will pay for this. Go Kingler" Lily called out.
(Kingler : Psudo elite class : lvl 30)
'Hmm she is the strongest among the others I have to say.'
"Kingler use bubblebeam."
"Dodge and use Thunderbolt." I said.
"Pichuuuu" Kingler was not lost yet though. Hmm she is definitely better than others.
"Kingler crab hammer" Lily called out.
"Pichu Iron tail." Both attacks clashed with each other. "Use thunderbolt"
"Kingler water pulse." Both attacks hit each other. Both of our pokemon were injured.
Though a few seconds later Kingler fainted.
"Kingler cannot battel. Third round winner is Regina. Therefore the winner of the whole match is Regina."
"good job pichu" I said to her gently.
"Chuuu"
"Char" Charmander who was quietly watching the match by my side suddenly spoke while cheering for Pichu congratulating her. I was happy that her attention was diverted to something else and not constantly hanging around her abandonment. Even if it is momentarily only.
I just took the badge and with my pokemon left from there. According to the rumors the previous gym leader pokemon have refused to accept those three as trainers. It was confirmed when I met with a former gym trainer of Cerlulean city. She confirmed that it was indeed true but there is still hope as the fourth sister is not like the other three according to her. So I was not scared of offending them.
The next day we left for Vermilion city.
