Arthur and Thanatos ran through the Labyrinth. Though Arthur was noticeably faster. The enhanced dragon body made his muscles carry him with further strides and speed. Combined with the incomplete pendragon augment. He felt as if he could see every layer in the air. Every particle of mana, and the complexities of it.
'Where is she…where is she…I have to…see…'
Arthur paused for a moment. His heart was beating. In those memories. He had…a faint memory of Revan. Several faint memories. Those memories, were making his heart race slightly more than it should be. Though he couldn't explain it. They weren't things he didn't exactly want to remember.
'What did that damned dragon do to me? And where did she go anyways? She just vanished…'
He grit his teeth and continued running around corners and blitzing through hallways. He was…worried for Revan's safety. He had never really thought too much of her. An afterthought. A person who simply ended up in the same unfortunate circumstance. He just felt like going faster. He could sense her. Far across the labyrinth. Even with the stronger body. He was straining his muscles to the limit. They were tearing. But he simply ignored the pain. As they regenerated quickly.
[Gained attribute: Weak Pain Resistance]
He skid to a stop when a foreign mana entered the area. The augment crackled to a stop as he looked at the disfigured hollow armor in front of him.
"There you are…boy…"
Arthur looked at him and grimaced slightly.
"Get out of the way."
The hollow armors blade was no longer flaming. It was just a dull scorched steel. Sad as he dragged it across the floor.
"Why should I? You cannot get past here. I will not allow it."
Arthur clutched the moonlight blade and sighed. The muscle memory of his future self and the man who had taken control of his body still lingered, he burst forward in an instant. Re-activating the augment and pumping his sword with all of his energy. He tried to slice across the armor with the same precision and power as the man. And almost replicated it. But his blade was stopped by the scorched great sword.
Both swung their blades back and met each other's slashes again and again in a violent clash. Although Arthur had a high advantage in speed. Even with the enhanced dragon body, his strength was still lacking. So he wrapped an extra layer of raw mana around his body. Making sure to carefully keep the calamities energy in check at the same time. It was all a bit stressful.
'Tch. Why is this guy such a pain in my ass?'
Arthur slid below the blade and grabbed the foot of the armor. Grunting as he lifted the heavy armor and sent it tumbling off balance. As the armor met the cold floor with a loud clang. Arthur leaped into the air. Using the augment to get even higher into the air. He wrapped the white flames around his blade and smiled. Concentrating on the single point within the hollow armor.
'Its been a while…'
A blue gleam surrounded Arthur's blade while he concentrated all of his sword energy and blitzed down into the ground. Like a spiraling missile. The ground exploded from the abundance of sword energy. And the hollowed armor was left torn into pieces.
"I won't…I will never…falter…"
The hollow armor managed to get up again. Even though it had missing limbs to its armor. The armor itself did not need limbs to move. It lunged forward with a speed Arthur could barely manage to realize. And the moonlight blade was knocked out of his hand.
"You…are not worthy…of that blade…"
Arthur looked at him and let out a grunt. The blade had nicked him on the hand as well.
"And why's that?"
The hulking armor remained silent and dashed forward again. Arthur covered his hand in white flames and attempted to melt the armor's legs. In order to make it stumble again. But was caught off guard by a heavy kick to the gut. Arthur let out an oomph and skid back onto the stone.
'Damn…that thing is…really heavy.'
