Chapter 202 - Chapter 202: Yahiko, Who Couldn't See the Hope of Peace

Chinya revealed his purpose for establishing this organization.

Pakura frowned. "Are you saying we should live the way we want—without regrets? You mean… create a ninja village?"

Chinya gave a light chuckle. "Why jump straight to founding a village? Right now there are only four of us. Add my wife, and we're just five altogether. That's not quite enough to start a village yet. Let's revisit that once we've grown a bit more.

For now," he continued, "let's focus on the organization itself. So, will the two of you stay with Xiao Organization? This isn't mandatory, but in my opinion, joining Xiao is an excellent choice for both of you.

Daiki and I won't impose anything on you. Most decisions within the organization will be made through discussion.

Of course," Chinya added seriously, "when the organization faces threats, every member must stand up and fight for it. Otherwise, there would be no point in building such an organization at all."

Pakura and Raiga Kurosuki exchanged glances.

Originally, they had joined Xiao Organization because of Yahiko. They never expected the leader of this organization to be Chinya.

Their main concern—or rather fear—had been that Xiao might be tied to Konoha.

Now that they knew it wasn't affiliated with Konoha, their doubts faded away.

Moreover… to live for themselves, to live the lives they desired—without regret.

Back then, they had always believed that the village came before the individual.

But now, after being betrayed by their respective villages, Pakura and Raiga found themselves longing for what Chinya had just said.

At the same time, both voiced their decision: "We choose to stay!"

Chinya wasn't surprised at all by Pakura and Raiga's decision.

Smiling, he said, "Right now, our organization is still in its early development stage. So the two of you will need to put in a bit more effort and assist Daiki. As for me, I'm still stationed in Konoha and can't manage things directly. I'll have to remain there for a few more years before leaving.

If you hit any problems you can't handle, don't rush in blindly. Contact me, and I'll come over right away to help resolve them."

Yahiko asked, "Leader, then what should we do next?"

Chinya replied, "First, recruit more members and gradually grow our organization. A few people like us aren't enough yet, but don't just take in any ninja. Better to have fewer but better—quality over quantity. Every member we bring in must at least be of Elite Jonin level.

As for money, don't worry about that. I'll handle the finances. If you're short on funds, just find me. In the early stages, I'll ensure the financial stability of the organization. But once we reach a certain scale or after I leave Konoha, we'll need to become self-sufficient."

In Chinya's plan, the new department he proposed to Danzo would definitely get established.

Danzo would also place him inside this new department.

Through this channel, Chinya could accumulate wealth to support Xiao Organization.

Chinya continued explaining Xiao organization's future plans to Yahiko and the others. "The overall structure of the Shinobi World won't change much in the near future—only minor frictions will occur here and there. Your focus should be on an organization called Akatsuki Organization, a group of mercenaries."

When Yahiko heard the name Akatsuki Organization, his body trembled slightly.

Chinya noticed this but chose not to acknowledge it, continuing instead. "Perhaps we'll cooperate with Akatsuki Organization in the future, but our relationship will remain purely collaborative because we could just as easily become enemies.

Their goal is to collect all nine Tailed Beasts and create a Tailed Beast weapon..."

Raiga Kurosuki exclaimed in surprise, "So Akatsuki Organization dares to have such great ambitions? Actually wanting to capture all nine Tailed Beasts? Do they consider the Five Great Ninja Villages nonexistent?"

Chinya explained, "That's exactly the issue. Akatsuki Organization indeed has the capability to capture Tailed Beasts. Right now, they're at a development stage similar to Xiao organization's. Their leader possesses the Rinnegan, granting him immense power. Furthermore, the ninja under their command are all elite Jonin from various villages.

By collecting the Tailed Beasts, Akatsuki Organization essentially declares themselves enemies of the Five Great Ninja Villages. As they progress in capturing the beasts, the Shinobi World will inevitably fall into chaos."

Pakura asked, "Then should we try to stop them?"

Chinya countered with a question, "Why should we stop them?"

Pakura thought for a moment before replying, "Well... wouldn't chaos in the shinobi world also bring us disadvantages?"

Shaking his head, Chinya said, "In my opinion, chaos in the Shinobi World is inevitable. I think you've seen clearly through this war—its conclusion was simply because resources and ninja forces across the villages were nearly exhausted.

Once these villages recover, replenishing both resources and personnel, the next war won't be far away.

Besides, we can't even stop Akatsuki Organization. As for why that is, you don't need to know for now. Just let things take their natural course."

Yahiko, Pakura, and Raiga Kurosuki nodded understandingly, saying, "We understand."

Chinya looked toward Yahiko. "Daiki, let's talk privately for a while."

Chinya and Yahiko walked aside together.

Chinya asked, "You've traveled extensively across the Shinobi World now. What are your thoughts? Do you still believe your previous theory about achieving peace could succeed?"

Yahiko fell silent and lowered his head.

These years of travel had left him feeling hopeless about the world.

Killings, betrayals... events that shattered his beliefs kept piling up one after another.

At first, when he started traveling, Yahiko was full of hope.

But experience after experience gradually extinguished that hope.

Once, Yahiko saved an injured Iwagakure ninja. When that ninja's teammate arrived, he attacked Yahiko without asking questions or clarifying right or wrong.

If that rescued ninja had just spoken in his defense, maybe his teammate wouldn't have attacked.

But no defense came.

Even worse, the very ninja Yahiko had saved claimed that Yahiko was an unidentifiable stranger—saying he could simply be killed.

Across the ninja villages, their shinobi ruthlessly slaughtered helpless civilians who couldn't even defend themselves.

Yahiko had saved those civilians, but the hatred in their eyes made him realize that peace was beyond reach.

He realized how naïve he'd once been.

Peace through mutual understanding between people—that was an unattainable dream.

Each person is an independent individual. Unless their thoughts are perfectly synchronized, true mutual understanding would never happen.

Yet thought synchronization was impossible unless achieved through a Shadow Clone.

Seeing Yahiko's expression, Chinya lowered his gaze and said, "It seems you've already come to your conclusion. Now that your innocence has been shattered, it's time for you to grow. Nagato's methods may be extreme, but they're not without merit. In fact, Nagato's approach to peace may actually be the only viable one. Unfortunately, Nagato is just a pawn—one who will never live to see that peace become real."
