Chapter 175 - Chapter 175: Proposal for Cooperation

Madara Uchiha fixed Chinya with a sharp gaze. "You clearly know I'm alive. Why haven't you reported this to Konoha?"

Chinya let out a light chuckle. "Why would I report it to Konoha? In my mind, our relationship is nothing more than employer and employee—I get shelter from them, and in return, I work for them. There's no need to report everything."

Uchiha Madara let out a grunt. "So it seems your loyalty toward Konoha isn't as genuine as it appears."

"I'm not Konoha's dog, nor is Konoha my master. Loyalty doesn't factor into this at all. Besides," he added, eyes flicking curiously toward the statue behind Madara, "I'm quite curious about that Demonic Statue of yours. Isn't that the same one Nagato summoned? You saved Obito for a reason, didn't you?"

Looking past the snake coiled before Madara and into its serpent-like pupils, Chinya's gaze locked onto the massive statue looming behind Uchiha Madara.

Madara's tone darkened. "Do you really think I'd tell you something like that? Now that you've discovered my existence and learned that Obito is still alive, what do you plan to do?"

Smiling, Chinya replied, "I find the world you're talking about really intriguing—the one where only winners remain, and where there's real peace, love, and all those lofty ideals."

Madara sounded slightly intrigued himself. "Oh? So you're actually yearning for such a world too?"

Chinya shrugged casually. "You know just how broken the Shinobi World is right now. Who wouldn't want a world like that?"

Madara gave a small laugh. "Then it seems we do have something in common after all."

Chinya asked curiously, "So tell me, Uchiha Madara, can you share your plan with me? I'm genuinely interested. If it's feasible, I might even consider joining forces with you."

But Madara had no intention of answering. Instead, he said coolly, "However, I don't trust someone who lurks in the shadows watching like you."

Chinya smirked sarcastically. "Is that so? But aren't you doing the exact same thing right now? Once the mighty Uchiha Madara, and now hiding away in this pitch-black cave... And besides, it was fine when I didn't know, but now that I do, I've already figured out your plan to use Obito Uchiha as your pawn."

Madara responded coldly, "And what do you plan to do about it?"

Chinya offered his suggestion. "How about this—we cooperate. I can keep quiet about Obito Uchiha, and maybe even assist him."

Madara narrowed his eyes slightly. "And what would you want in return?"

Chinya made his demand clear. "I want to kill you myself—with my own hands."

A flash of icy coldness flickered across Madara's gaze.

Chinya smirked, continuing, "Don't make that scary face. Think about it—you're going to die eventually anyway once Obito willingly serves you, am I right? Since you must die either way, whether by suicide or at my hands, what difference does it really make?"

Madara frowned, puzzled. "If there's truly no difference, then why insist on being the one to kill me?"

Chinya shrugged casually. "Call it my twisted pleasure. Imagine—the strongest man ever to stand atop the Shinobi World, dying by my hand. Doesn't that sound exciting?"

"Obito Uchiha, if you've already figured out that I'll die after finishing my arrangements, then there's nothing I can do to stop you anyway, right? So tell me—why should I trust you?"

Chinya smiled. "Madara Uchiha, you want to be revived, don't you?"

A powerful aura suddenly surged from Madara Uchiha's aged body.

Even though Chinya was communicating through a summoned snake, he still felt a chill down his spine.

Madara's eyes burned with killing intent as he glared at the snake. "What exactly do you know?!"

Chinya replied calmly, "Isn't it obvious? You've been surviving until now using this Demonic Statue. You're making Obito Uchiha carry out your will. But given your personality, you're not someone who would easily entrust the future to the younger generation. With your extreme need for control, you'd definitely want to keep everything in your own hands.

"So it's easy to deduce—the current body you're using has reached its limit. My guess is, your plan involves using Obito to help you achieve resurrection.

"This Shinobi World is full of strange and powerful jutsu. It wouldn't surprise me if there actually existed forbidden techniques capable of bringing back the dead. After all, the Second Hokage developed the Impure World Reincarnation—a forbidden technique that can trap souls from Yomi."

He continued, "Besides... Madara Uchiha, I hope you can truly return."

Madara stared at the snake in surprise.

Chinya laughed arrogantly. "I want you to come back, so I can challenge you openly—let's see who's stronger! The mighty warrior from the old era or myself, the ruler of the modern age!"

Madara paused, then burst into wild laughter himself. "Chinya… I suddenly find you quite appealing. You really are just like me—driven by an intense desire to fight against strong opponents. It seems you're the one among all the Uchiha who most resembles me."

Chinya scoffed. "I'm not one of yours. Your Uchiha clan never accepted me, and I have no interest in acknowledging them either."

Madara boasted, "After I chose to leave the Uchiha behind, the Uchiha of Konoha ceased to be true Uchiha. Wherever I am—that is what defines the true Uchiha Clan! Chinya, I'm quite fond of you—but not enough to earn my trust."

Chinya asked, "Then what else do you want?"

Madara shook his head. "Precisely because we're alike, I can never fully trust you. However, I do believe you won't interfere with Obito's path. You're clearly not someone content with staying quiet. So I'll consider your cooperation. Once Obito returns and I pass on my instructions to him, you may seek me out at the Mountain Graveyard."

Chinya agreed, "Fine. Then I look forward to meeting you face-to-face."

The summoned snake before Madara dissolved into a puff of smoke, vanishing instantly.

Meanwhile, deep within Konoha's base in the Land of Rain, Chinya wore a serious expression.

Madara Uchiha discovering him had come completely out of the blue.

Now that he had prematurely entered Madara's radar, Chinya needed to figure out how to turn this chance encounter into an advantage.

His improvised plan was to plunge headfirst into Madara's grand design.

The benefit of this approach is that everything done by Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu would be fully visible to him.

However, the downside is equally apparent—he'd also be within the line of sight of Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu.

After careful thought, Chinya decided the benefits outweighed the risks—after all, he held memories of the future. The advantage was his.

So, Chinya felt sure—aligning with Madara Uchiha was a smart move.
